This literally made me lol. Thanks mate, needed a chuckle.
your comment made my wife laugh. she's left and we continually clash over politics

yeah I heard that a week or 2 back. Sounded rough as, especially arnels vocals which sound shot.
I've no desire to see them live anymore tbh

I love Muna, they are one of my fave bands, but their lastest output didn't do much for me. It's still a good album no doubt but pales in comparison with their earlier works.
I like the Muna songs but struggle with the vocals

You're a stupid motherf**ker, all you do is troll and act like a worthless little punk on HH
Learn to stay in your own lane moron.
Democrats are natural-born cheaters and the mainstream press runs cover for all of their illegal activities. The reason blue states reject Voter Id laws is because it makes it EASIER for them to CHEAT.
you calling me a moron is actually one of the funniest things I've read on these forums in the last 15 years. 🤣🤣🤣👍
Comedy gold.
And again just to define your idea of trolling : someone who doesn't agree with you 🙄

For example if Labour (the equivalent of the US democrats) won in the UK (God forbid) we would not automatically claim voter fraud.
We would not assume they somehow 'stole' an election.
We would just accept the result and move on.

It's weird how "conspiracy theory" has nowadays been converted into an insult by Leftist elites. Until the 2000s when the elites changed to become left-leaning in the majority (in order to control culture and gain more wealth and influence from useless idiots), conspiracies were all the rage among the Left. In the last 20 years or so, they have changed this narrative to make any distrust of authority to be on the nose. Swings and roundabouts I guess.
it's weird how you assume I'm elite, am not. Left? am not. staunch conservative.
However continually saying an election has been stolen is conspiracy theorist I'm afraid whether you think its a leftie thing to say or not.
Especially when it has been investigated to death and no evidence found, even by people associated with the republicans.
have a good day 😊

You'll know the fix was in if they steal the House'.Damn worthless, corrupt democrats want to keep counting until they get the desired result - until they win. They will do ANYTHING to keep power especially in the House. The House has subpoena power and can investigate as well as the gov't wallet.(R) win the House and every damn deceptive, corrupt thing they've done the last 5 years gets exposed...and major (D) players will be wearing prison orange.
thanks for confirming
Nice to see the conspiracy theories still running rife in this thread
🤣🤣🤣👏

2 things are clear
1. if the republicans win the senate the vote will be correct
2. If the Democrats win the senate the election will be stolen

I found that now I have little to no desire to see any bands, no matter how much I like them. And I used to go to the rock clubs for shows all the time. Not sure if it's an age thing or what but I just don't want to anymore.
Anyone else?
been to about 6 gigs this year.
Cats in Space in December.

I read a comment from a fan commenting on a recent show who said something along the lines of "it was weird not seeing Tom or James on stage with Vega". So it's true indeed.
Great song writers but cardboard cut outs on Stage lol. Always looked so awkward on stage to me.

I find 'Hot for teacher' to be one, if not the most intriguing song of our genre. To me, it is utterly dreadful and the blueprint for the obligatory filler song that most 80's bands threw on their albums somewhere around track 9 or 10 to be skipped over. Any single band records that song without the videoclip and the memories and the fanfare, and it's completely ignored and skipped. I don't begrudge VH even a tiny bit for making an absolutely dreadful song something so iconic, but it's interesting to watch from the sidelines, as someone who just likes good songs for being good songs.
IN, my opinion, and to each their own, of course.
4th best song on 1984

I was wondering if this was the case. Both songs sound very nice.
BUT, both former members of Vega? What? When did that happen? Have Vega broken up, or have these guys just left the band? Either way, probably same end result anyway. What a bummer.
they've gone but I think they intended to still contribute songs, just not play / tour.
Singer wrote the lyrics I think

Anyone know if the Martin brothers are still in this band? For anyone not sure what I mean, I reference the press release for the new Issa album, which refers to Tom and James Martin as former members of VEGA. For what it's worth, wikipedia is still showing them as members of the band and I couldn't find anything in a google search. Anyone have some light to shed on this?
no they've gone.

I'll listen but not expecting much tbh.
Really liked all 3 albums but this isn't the same band , not even close imo

I find it downright sad reading how the streaming disciples listen to music. I knew this was the case, but I really feel sorry for what you have lost. Listening to playlists is such a shitty way to devolve from that 20 year old who would listen to an album over and over again. And what is even sadder is how superior you all feel and talk about how you "no longer do the album thing cause streaming is just so superior blah blah blah". Sad.
I mainly (I would say 90% of the time) still listen to albums.
However I do occasionally like to binge on a band and having a playlist is fun. I generally only have the songs I really love from the band.
The length of the playlist therefore depends on how good the band is
HS prob about 70 songs, Van Halen about 15 🤣🤣
I don't have a cd player at home so stream in the house or on the go, but cds still in the car.
Not sure where the superior thing came from??

Not even Perfect Plan?
I dunno, technically I'm actually the same as you, regarding full albums, but are you still an all or nothing album person, in this age? I'd never listen to any of the full albums we've mentioned in this thread from 2022 again, but there's killer cuts on all of Kenti Hill's projects that will 100% be on my yearly playlist to be played well into the future.
I don't tend to have year lists, more band playlists.
But if I want to listen to Giant, I'll play the first 2

Not going to argue that it's not generic, or even that it's a great album. But I do think it's pretty good stuff. Pretty much on par with Kenti Hill's other projects, which are all pretty good.
this is the point.
All pretty good.
never to be listened to ever again

You and I may be "lucky" that the heaviest weight of the covid idiocy didn't impact us personally on anything more than a trivial level (which is in the eye of the beholder itself), but not everyone was so "lucky."
we were also lucky that COVID didn't kill any of our families.
Now move on mate

The thing I notice is that those most vocal about moving on are the ones that just blindly supported everything that happened over the last few years. Whether they've finally come to some kind of realisation and are ashamed of themselves and want to move on, or whether they still just believe everything was justified and it's time to move on... I know not the answer to this.
another barbed comment aimed to provoke.
move on mate.
