  3. Don't get too excited, though, mate. He's nothing special at all. Just the type of person who stand out as as person you can automatically tell is a complete dickhead, in real life or on the net. I don't even like giving him acknowledgement of existence, but I do so to satisfy your curiosity. No I remember exactly who the bloke is, I just have to play it off so I can be none judgmental, so when I put myself in the good book he will give me good responses, he wont treat me like some chap that gets no respect, he will not treat me like a bloody wanker, even if he has been tossing some bloody salad, you know what im saying cause I remember he is a wanker, this little tallywhacker licker will get his bloody day on the page, if he can still keep his profile up cause I'll say this bloke is gonna wish he was never born when were finished with this ball hugger, this tampon taster, finish this pecker snot lover, do you chaps know what im bloody saying about this wanker? Oh bloody hell, that sounds just like me... *Note to myself* Must. Get. A. Life.

    Vega

From Spinefarm Records: "UK ROCKERS Vega have confirmed a March 11th release for their second studio album, ‘What The Hell!’; this will be the band’s first release for Spinefarm Records/Ninetone, and is the follow-up to their 2010 outing, ‘Kiss Of Life’. Produced by Vega & co-produced & mixed by John Greatwood (Entombed, Corroded, etc.), the new album features 14 tracks and, according to frontman Nick Workman, each one of them was given a thorough work-out prior to inclusion… “The thing is, we wanted to write an album where every song could be considered as a single. We pretty much demoed each one twice before we were satisfied, and we were fortunate enough to have Joe Elliott cast his ear over some of the demos – his comments were a massive influence on our individual performances…” “Also” continues drummer Dan Chantrey, “we decided to record through the night, as we felt that the atmosphere was more in keeping with the tone of the songs. We would start the session with a huge caffeine injection and then push on until we fell asleep behind the drums, the mic, guitars or whatever...”

  7. Loudguns is working on their follow-up to the excellent 'Broken Highway' called 'Sunset Runaway'. A new song teaser below. Sounds good! Something to look forward to... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=85dAkFPkjzc
  8. Nah! I'm changing my mind. I love it! I listened to it a few more times and take away the Bon Jovi name and you got a great song on your hands. Maybe a sucking Bon Jovi song but a great one on its own.

  10. This sounds like a good line-up: FM, Vega, Serpentine and It Bites.
  11. I'm all for it. As long as there's a description somewhere stating that it's download-only.
  12. I like it. Not the 'classic' (whatever that means) Bon Jovi but good nevertheless. From the album 'What About Now' out March 26th.
  13. Is that one released on CD at all? I'd really like to have it in physical format... Yeah mate, here it is: http://www.amazon.co...ils_o00_s00_i00 I bought a used copy from Amazon for a little under that price. Haven't got it yet and to be honest I truly fear it'll be in a slip disc CD single cardboard thingy, but I can let you know if you'd like. Both it and the Star City Meltdown CD seem to be very hard to find in any quantity. So it's a cd-r thingie, eh? "This product is manufactured on demand using CD-R recordable media. Amazon.com's standard return policy will apply." Goddammit! Let me know if it's up to any standard when you get it Geoff...
  14. Hmmm...so why is the last work of Shotgun Alley listed on the main pages?
  15. The singer is quite a hottie and she wants to *song title* you... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8aFxqU_m1ic
  16. From Classic Rock magazine: Meine: There’s still life in those bloody old Scorpions "Scorpions frontman Klaus Meine has explained why the veteran German band decided to abandon their retirement plans. Three years ago the Scorps announced that they had decided to wind down their career; now they’ve changed their minds. In an interview in the new issue of Classic Rock, Meine explained the volte-face as follows: “As the emotion built, it [not retiring] became a gradual decision. It’s one thing to say, ‘This is going to be the end of the Scorpions’ and another to do it. Our Sting In The Tail album [2010] was such a success that a whole new generation of fans joined the party. It was amazing. And you know that with all the best parties it’s sometimes hard to find the door?” There are plans for a new Scorpions album, featuring leftovers from the early 1980s. “We started that over a year ago,” Meine confirmed. “It will be material that was never finished; songs with pure Scorpions DNA from a very exciting time. Once we close the book on the crazy touring schedule that’s something we’ll pick up again.” There may also be an album of all-new Scorpions material in the pipeline. “At this point nothing is out of the question,” Meine said. “When we said adios with SITT, our label, Sony Music, cried: ‘No, no, no… what about this idea? What about that idea?’ There are some offers you just can’t refuse. I don’t want to say too much right now but I can reassure you there is still life in those bloody old Scorpions.” He concluded: “We’ll just have to see what’s realistic. We’re working on a documentary movie about the band’s history. We filmed the tour’s big finale in Munich which was very emotional.”
  17. I just bought 2 Friday tickets to Firefest - now that is fucking interesting. Who else is going apart from Dan?? Dammit! I would love to, but I'm already booked for the MOR Cruise, and I might check out M3. You guys across the pond hear about the possibility of a MOR Cruise happening in Europe? That would be awesome! Actually Sweden Rock has arranged Sweden Rock Cruises since 2004 between Sweden and Finland. The 14th cruise is happening April 11th-12th with confirmed artists like Queensryche, Bullet, Bonafide and more bands to be announced. http://www.swedenrockcruise.com/index.cfm?pg=1
  18. Is that one released on CD at all? I'd really like to have it in physical format...
  19. I'm against adding anything else than proper cd releases on the main site unless stated otherwise. It should be mentioned in the listing if it's a download only or a cd-r. For example the latest release from Shotgun Alley (Dying To Survive), it was only available as a free download from their website. So it should be marked as a download. Or maybe the headline 'CD I own' should be changed to 'Titles I own'. Just my opinion...
