  1. Press release from Frontiers: Frontiers Music Srl is thrilled to welcome Swedish rock band Cap Outrun to the label’s roster. Their label debut is slated for release in late 2021, with more details to follow in the coming weeks. Cap Outrun formed in Sweden in 2007 when Andrée Theander and Erik Gafvelin Wiss met at a Swedish university for music production and started to make music together. The two youngsters wrote and recorded a lot of songs and with a little help from a bunch of friends, six of the songs ended up on the very first Cap Outrun release, ”Influence Grind” (2008). The music was somewhat complex with odd time signatures and unexpected song structures, but still contained memorable melodies and pop-flavored choruses. This perfect blend of rock, metal, and jazz made them fairly well-known within the underground world of prog rock lovers for a period of time. Andrée and Erik graduated from university and they decided to go their separate musical ways. Since then, they have stayed good friends, but were working on their own careers: Andrée as a session player, guitar teacher and with his own AOR/Westcoast project Theander Expression, while Erik started to build his own studio and mainly focus on producing and mixing records by other bands, like Creye, Cruzh, and Arctic Rain to name a few. Cap Outrun was essentially on hiatus after that self-released EP…until now! ”It feels great to work with Frontiers on this release and I’m anxious to hear what the label’s followers will say about it. Ever since Mr. Big, who’s one of my all time favorite bands, released their ”What If” record, I’ve been following the label’s awesome releases and I’m both impressed and grateful for what they’re doing for the rock music scene today. I’m thrilled about joining them with Cap Outrun and everybody in the band is very excited about this!” says guitarist Andrée Theander. Although Erik continues with his studio work and he is still involved in Cap Outrun, he has decided to take a step back as the main keyboardist and that spot has been given to the very talented session player André Egbo. Vocalist Chandler Mogel (Double Vision, Outloud), bassist Linus ”Mr. Gul” Abrahamson (Andromeda, Constanica), and drummer Johan Ludvig Rask round out the line-up. The writing and production process for the upcoming album, ”High On Deception” has been a very successful collaboration between Andrée and Erik. Musical influences are everything from Swedish progressive rock bands Kaipa and Karmakanic to legendary American bands like Toto and Boston. Some of Andrée’s and Erik’s friends have even mentioned Dirty Loops when they’ve dropped around Erik’s studio in Stockholm while the album was still in the making. [Who knows, maybe it could have something to do with bass player Linus’ close collaboration with the Dirty Loops members Henrik Linder and Aron Mellergård for their newly released bass and drum transcription books?] ”High on Deception” is a distinctive record filled with playful odd time signatures and interesting harmonies, but it never loses its core of strong melodies and an exceptional groove. Stay tuned for more news soon! 6. To the informed ones yes but to the average person who don't follow politics, it's Biden (and his administration) who fucked it up. Not US. I still think the withdrawal was the right move, the way it was executed wasn't.
  7. Of course they are. Are you stupid or what?!
  8. There's no excuse, he fucked up big time. Or should I say the Biden administration fucked up, Biden didn't do shit. He's just a puppet of the circus.
  9. That's funny and sad at the same time.
  10. New song 'Knock Me Down'. Press release: Long running hard rockers L.A. Guns have announced the release of their new studio album, "Checkered Past" on November 12, 2021. Written and recorded during late 2020 and early 2021, "Checkered Past" sees Tracii Guns, Phil Lewis, and company continuing with the darker lyrical tone of the preceding studio albums, "The Devil You Know" and "The Missing Peace", while incorporating their classic rock influences into the mix. Heavier songs are mixed with bluesier, boogie inducing tracks and dark, introspective ballads, often harkening back to the first three albums the band made, but also pushing the band forward. When fans absorb the album as a whole, they'll see that the tracklisting is divided up into 'sets' or 'suites', where a sonic style is explored across multiple songs before moving on to the next, making for a remarkable listening experience. Feeling inspired and excited like they did when they first started out, but with many years of wisdom and experience under their belts, and most importantly, a renewed and stronger creative and personal relationship, Guns and Lewis are maintaining a creative peak that started with "The Missing Peace". "Checkered Past" shows a band invigorated and ready to bash you over the head, as well as “wow” you with some epic, slower songs, and even make you dance a bit to some rock 'n roll. Since their self-titled debut in 1988 to the widely praised comeback albums "The Missing Peace" and "The Devil You Know", L.A. GUNS, led by Tracii Guns and Phil Lewis have always delivered solid rock ‘n roll to their fans. This current incarnation of the band has been touring non-stop, with a notable break coinciding with all other touring bands, and the cohesiveness of the unit, not to mention Phil’s stunning and unique vocals and Guns’ mind-bending guitar playing, are on full display here. A must hear and listen for all fans of the band, both new and old. L.A. Guns never looked like the pretty poster boys that so many of their peers did, but more the band that you would be terrified to bump into in an alley as they would likely be carrying switchblades and ready for a fight. But despite having many songs to back up that image, the band could also write powerful ballads (see the smash hit, “The Ballad Of Jayne” for Exhibit A of this argument) that showed there were some serious songwriting chops in the band. Those chops are on full display on the band's two most recent studio albums and the upcoming new album, "Checkered Past," arguably one of the most vital and exciting releases in the band’s catalog. Tracklist: 1.Cannonball 2.Bad Luck Charm 3.Living Right Now 4.Get Along 5.If It's Over Now 6.Better Than You 7.Knock Me Down 8.Dog 9.Let You Down 10.That Ain’t Why 11.Physical Itch LINE-UP: Phil Lewis - vocals Tracii Guns - guitar Ace Von Johnson - guitar Johnny Martin - bass Scot Coogan -drums
  11. The decision to withdraw is not the problem, the problem is how it is executed. And my God, that was the worst withdrawal ever. But hey, you get what you elect. Clusterfuck.
  12. This is really nice. From the band: This is the first song released from Pearls & Flames since the restart of the project in 2019. This is the lyric video for an advanced demo of the song “Follow the Road”. We have collaborated with the gifted musician, songwriter and producer Tommy Denander. If you like it, please tell your friends, share and play it over and over again. Hopefully we will get a deal to release it through a record company in a near future. Please enjoy!
  13. Trump fucked up your pension and now Biden fucked the Afghanistan people. You simply can't win all the time
  14. Platforms - The Future That Never Happened Got it at last.
  15. New song 'Where Do We Run' Video coming this Friday. Press release: “Where Do We Run” features a Classic Rock vibe reminiscent of Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix, while invoking Pink Floyd-esque riffs. “The song shows some of my biggest influences from stellar guitar player/vocalists like Richie Sambora (BON JOVI), Steve Lukather (TOTO), Peter Frampton, John Sykes (WHITESNAKE, THIN LIZZY), and the late, great Gary Moore,” says Brown. The idea for “Where Do We Run” was first born in 1994, when Brown built his home studio, MOJO VEGAS-6160. “I was writing a few songs to pitch to movies and “Where Do We Run” seemed like the perfect song for a dark love story. I had my hands in a lot of projects back then and it just got put on the backburner. I rediscovered the song in 2020, while I was completing the second album, “LIONS" for TOKYO MOTOR FIST. Upon hearing it again, I remembered how much I loved this song. With today’s political and emotional climate, I felt it is more relevant than ever and the world needed to hear it.” “Where Do We Run” strikes a chord with the challenging times we are all living in. It runs through the gamut of emotions. It is a tale of yearning, agony, reflection, love, loss, but most importantly, hope. “For my first official solo release ever, I wanted to show a different side of my sound both vocally and musically, and not the obvious arena rock production that I’m known for,” said Brown. “Where Do We Run” is more of a Classic Rock production, laced with natural and authentic sounds. I brought my dear friend’s, Joey Cassata on Drums (ZO2, TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA), Eric Ragno on keys (GRAHAM BONNET, THE BABY’S), Chris Lester on Bass (SUNNY ERNA’S AVALON, ZENBOY) to completely take this track into the stratosphere.” The song may be inspired by the Classic Rock sound of yesteryear, but its captivating lyrical content, infused with rich, layered melodies and ethereal tones, delivers it to our present-day doorstep - gift wrapped and tied with a big, fat alluring bow. Like a sign of the times, “Where Do We Run” is haunting, yet beautiful, with a dose of aspiration we all could use. “Where Do We Run” was written, produced, engineered & mixed by Steve Brown Mastered by Stephen DeAcutis at Soundspa Productions, New Jersey The homegrown video was shot in the scenic mountains of Ringwood, New Jersey by Jason Findlay of Jason Adam Photography Directed by Steve Brown & Jason Findlay Sincere gratitude to Cherie Neve for PR support

  17. There's a saying that goes something like: "Keep your friends close but keep your enemies even closer" Or: "I kill people for money but you're my friend so I'll kill you for nothing" Where the hell am I going with this?!
  18. New cover of Skid Row's '18 And Life'. From Erik: This song was basically the starting point of my professional career as an artist. I performed this song during my Swedish Idol audition back in 2009. 12 years later it's time to give this bad boy a try again. Here's my version of the Skid Row song 18 and life.
