  1. From Escape Music: Release date: 22nd October 2021 Chris Ousey - Lead Vocals Mike Slamer – Guitars and Keyboards (Steve Walsh / The City Boys / Street) Barish Kepic – Guitar and keyboards (Jaded Heart) Ged Rylands – keyboards (Ten / Rage Of Angels / Tyketto) Wayne Banks – Bass (Saxon / Brazen Abbot / Roin Gibb) David Anthony – Drums (Dennis DeYoung) Produced: Chris Ousey and Khalil Turk Co Produced, Production Directions and Mixed by Mike Slamer Mastered by Steve Mann (Michael Schenker / Lionheart) Chris Ousey has had an excellent singing career that goes way back to the times of “Monroe” and “Virginia Wolf” and along the way we have had “The Distance”, “Ozone” and “Snakecharmer” but he will always be known for the much loved “Heartland”. He is nicknamed “The man with the golden tonsils” and that is a fine accolade indeed for he has earned it. His effortless vocal range has gained him a top spot in the world of classic UK hard rock. Heartland was formed in 1990 by Chris Ousey and Gary Sharpe and Steve Morris joined in 1995 when Heartland III was released (the first release for Escape Music). Steve has been in the band since then right up the 2007 release “Mind Your head”. “Into the Future” marks a new era for Heartland, their brand-new release and a fantastic new line up with Chris’s vocals still showing no signs of tiring! This marks their 10th Studio album, a milestone indeed Here we have an album that reflects the prowess of all the musicians involved on this album, featuring the fantastic Mike Slamer (City Boy / Streets / Seventh Key / Steelhouse Lane) and Ged Rylands (Ten / Rage of Angels / Tyketto) along with the seasoned Barish Kepic, Wayne Banks and David Anthony. “Into the Future” is typically Heartland, the style is immediately recognised yet there is a fresh, vibrant feel that gives the fans something new. The song “Foreign Land” has already had an airing (Escape-Music.com) and is a typical song from the album, this is what melodic rock is all about!
  2. From Escape Music: Danny Danzi is an American musician, who is also well known as a producer, recording and mastering engineer. Danny gained a good following in the late 1990’s when he released “Somewhere lost in time” and appearances at shows like “The Gods” in the UK help cement that following where Danny excelled at engaging the audience. He followed up with a second release in 2003 entitled “Danziland” (appropriately named after his company). This was a much-loved release and it brought to light the immense talent this man has. Some 18 years later and Danny is back with a new recording “Tribulations” which is his best work to date. This particular recording has been 10 years in the making and is a concept album based on the life and challenges of Danny, drummer Guy DeFalco and bassist Joe DeFalco. The new material blends the music of today with groove orientated riffs, catchy melodies and intense guitar work. These new recordings showcase a wider variety of style and raise the bar in relation to the performance, composition and overall musicianship. The songs are written and arranged by Danny, Joe and Guy. Vocals and instruments are by Danny as well as the recording, mixing, producing and mastering. This is one album to look forward to in 2021 Release date: 24th September 2021 Catalogue No: ESM357 Track list: 1. Accountable (4:51) 2. Don’t (4:57) 3. Frozen in Time (6:46) 4. 3. And there you have it. Some people here thinks the situation couldn't have been handled better. We don't know what the Trump deal was, maybe he had a plan to evacuate the people in May. Even if he hadn't, he would've listen to the experts and gone in guns blazin'. I'm not saying he would have but he could have. He has the courage to do so if needed in comparison of this weak administration right now. The Biden administration, in the first week in office, revised or cancel pretty much everything Trump had done. I bet they completely ignored the Trump deal 'cause if the withdrawal was to be a success, Trump would have been praised for it. And we all know Pelosi and the rest of the clowns wouldn't want that. However the outcome would have been the same, the Taliban gaining control of Afghanistan, but the innocent people would be out of there. If it was a right decision to withdraw the troops or not, that's another question. So if you don't think this was a complete clusterfuck by this current administration, you can go f**k yourself. And for your information, this president won't serve his four-year term to the end. There will be some excuse for him to step down (probably health issue) and the even worse clown Harris will take over. Oh Lord. You can thank me later...
  4. New song 'The Alien' taken from the new album (out October 22) Not a big fan of Dream Theater myself. On their fifteenth album, A View from the Top of the World, the New York quintet rush forward at full speed again with seven tracks equally steeped in articulate arrangements, groove-laden guitars, and skyscraping melodies. dreamtheater.net facebook.com/dreamtheater

  7. That was an emotional speech by this war veteran. Even I got a bit emotional. Riveting stuff. US: Your country need more people like this. Hell, the world need more people like this. I'm living in this quiet part of the world and I really can't comprehend what's happening in Afghanistan right now. As a matter of fact, in US also.
  8. The Truth. The longer version:
  9. New song 'Fantastic Fanatic'.
  10. New EP (hopefully not his last release) out October 1st. Press release: On the heels of his well received solo album "One Shot", Danish vocalist Ronnie Atkins (Pretty Maids, Nordic Union) has announced the upcoming release of a new EP, "4 More Shots (The Acoustics)" on October 1, 2021. The EP consists of one unreleased studio track, 'Carry Me Over' and three acoustic tracks. All three acoustic tracks, 'When Dreams Are Not Enough', 'Picture Yourself', and 'Real', have original studio versions that appear on "One Shot". Additionally, the EP contains a special bonus track, 'One Shot' (Orchestra Version) that was originally available as a bonus track in Japan with the album "One Shot". “'Carry Me Over” was in fact the first song I wrote after I was told my cancer was back in March 2020. It was written when I hit rock bottom mentally and emotionally and in a very hopeless and frustrating period of time in my life. That’s pretty obvious when you listen to the lyrics. So, when I had to decide which songs were gonna go on the album "One Shot", I deliberately decided to leave “Carry Me Over” out for two reasons. One being the fact that, you know, I simply thought the lyrics were too sad/depressing and that’s not what I wanted to signal to the fans. Second, I felt it would tip the balance on the album. However, I still think it’s a beautiful melody!! Melancholic indeed, but also very honest and therefore I can back it up at any time. That’s how I felt and that was the state of my mind when I wrote it," says Atkins of the studio track 'Carry Me Over'. "Today, I’m in a different place, not diagnosis wise really, but I feel good and I guess I’ve somehow learned how to adapt to the situation and deal with it. Thanks to immunotherapy, a positive mindset, and, not the least of which, the almighty God, I’m still here," he concludes. The EP was produced and mixed by Chris Laney, co-produced and arranged by Anders Ringman, and mastered by Jacob Hansen. It was recorded during 2020 at Hansen Studios, Laneyland Studios and Platform CPR. The musicians appearing on the EP are: Ronnie Atkins: Lead and backing vocals Chris Laney: Acoustic guitars, Bass and backing vocals Anders Ringman: Acoustic and lead guitars, Bass, Piano, Keyboards. Allan Sørensen: Drums Linnea Vikström Egg: Backing vocals Tracklisting: 1. Carry Me Over 2. When Dreams Are Not Enough (acoustic version) 3. Picture Yourself (acoustic version) 4. Real (acoustic version) 5. One Shot (Orchestra Version - Bonus Track)
  11. I like the albums up to 'Soul Provider' but after that album it's been downhill all the way. A few good songs here and there.
  12. I'm not in any FB groups and I probably never will be. Waste of space, when you got this excellent forum with excellent members like me
  13. Press release from Frontiers: Frontiers Music Srl is thrilled to welcome Swedish rock band Cap Outrun to the label’s roster. Their label debut is slated for release in late 2021, with more details to follow in the coming weeks. Cap Outrun formed in Sweden in 2007 when Andrée Theander and Erik Gafvelin Wiss met at a Swedish university for music production and started to make music together. The two youngsters wrote and recorded a lot of songs and with a little help from a bunch of friends, six of the songs ended up on the very first Cap Outrun release, ”Influence Grind” (2008). The music was somewhat complex with odd time signatures and unexpected song structures, but still contained memorable melodies and pop-flavored choruses. This perfect blend of rock, metal, and jazz made them fairly well-known within the underground world of prog rock lovers for a period of time. Andrée and Erik graduated from university and they decided to go their separate musical ways. Since then, they have stayed good friends, but were working on their own careers: Andrée as a session player, guitar teacher and with his own AOR/Westcoast project Theander Expression, while Erik started to build his own studio and mainly focus on producing and mixing records by other bands, like Creye, Cruzh, and Arctic Rain to name a few. Cap Outrun was essentially on hiatus after that self-released EP…until now! ”It feels great to work with Frontiers on this release and I’m anxious to hear what the label’s followers will say about it. Ever since Mr. Big, who’s one of my all time favorite bands, released their ”What If” record, I’ve been following the label’s awesome releases and I’m both impressed and grateful for what they’re doing for the rock music scene today. I’m thrilled about joining them with Cap Outrun and everybody in the band is very excited about this!” says guitarist Andrée Theander. Although Erik continues with his studio work and he is still involved in Cap Outrun, he has decided to take a step back as the main keyboardist and that spot has been given to the very talented session player André Egbo. Vocalist Chandler Mogel (Double Vision, Outloud), bassist Linus ”Mr. Gul” Abrahamson (Andromeda, Constanica), and drummer Johan Ludvig Rask round out the line-up. The writing and production process for the upcoming album, ”High On Deception” has been a very successful collaboration between Andrée and Erik. Musical influences are everything from Swedish progressive rock bands Kaipa and Karmakanic to legendary American bands like Toto and Boston. Some of Andrée’s and Erik’s friends have even mentioned Dirty Loops when they’ve dropped around Erik’s studio in Stockholm while the album was still in the making. [Who knows, maybe it could have something to do with bass player Linus’ close collaboration with the Dirty Loops members Henrik Linder and Aron Mellergård for their newly released bass and drum transcription books?] ”High on Deception” is a distinctive record filled with playful odd time signatures and interesting harmonies, but it never loses its core of strong melodies and an exceptional groove. Stay tuned for more news soon!
