  1. Rock Candy was added to the Discogs site by someone using the ID MarkHopkins on January 23rd of THIS YEAR. http://www.discogs.c...ser=markhopkins He also just happens to have a copy for sale for the low, low price of £ 300.00 http://www.discogs.c...ler/markhopkins
  2. This has nothing to do with your copy (hopefully) but the Winter's Reign - The Beginning CD has now been booted, and is available for a whopping $7.99 on Azintex Music.
  3. I'd be interested to know what info any of you have regarding this. You can see some of the discussion taking place on the main site here: Rock Candy HH As of this morning, Daz Buff is describing one version of a silver pressed Rock Candy CD he has (Link Records catalog # 8701), and I've received a pm describing yet ANOTHER version of this supposed mega/super duper rarity this morning (Loop Records). The story on this release is that the band signed a contract permitting Loop Records to press & release the album on cd but did not get paid as promised & therefore refuse to acknowledge the Loop Records pressing. My main problem with all of this, is that if legit or even semi-legit CD copies have EVER existed, how is it that they've JUST NOW, 25 years down the road, popped up? I smell a boot(s)!
  4. After months of mulling over the decision whether or not to renew Steven Spielberg's time-travel drama TERRA NOVA, FOX has opted NOT to move forward with a second season. The ratings weren't very strong (7.5 million total viewers and 2.6 million in adults 18-49 demo per episode) and with an increased number of hourlong dramas (TOUCH and ALCATRAZ to name a couple), that made the decision a difficult one but one that the network is comfortable with.
  5. Don't own a single one of 'em, although I will admit to SERIOUSLY considering picking up 21 by Adele. Everything I've heard off of it has been excellent IMO....
  6. Ugh... another legend gone way too soon. R.I.P. Ronnie
  7. Way too young.... http://loudwire.com/...man-dies-at-38/ Drummer Tonmi Lillman, known as 'Otus' in the Finnish heavy metal group Lordi, passed away yesterday (Feb. 14) at the age of 38. No cause of death has been revealed as of yet. The full identity of Otus, in keeping with Lordi's policy, remained a secret until now. The band wears masks and all the members use stage names to keep their identities private. Lordi issued the following statement to their fans via their official website: Our dear friend and band mate, "Otus" Tonmi Lillman, has sadly passed away. He will be greatly missed and we send our condolences to his family and friends. Otus: we thank You from the bottom of our hearts for the short time we got to know you and spend with you together. Rest in peace, friend. Lillman had joined Lordi in 2010 after replacing previous drummer Kita, who apparently had been fired from the band for revealing his identity. In addition, Lillman had played drums for a number of other notable outfits, including Sinergy and To/Die/For. He was also part of the heavy metal parody band Kylähullut fronted by Children of Bodom's Alexi Laiho. The drummer was also a talented studio engineer who worked with several heavy metal bands, as well as a gifted 3D graphic designer and music video editor. Loudwire offers its deepest condolences to Tonmi Lillman's family and to the members of Lordi.
  8. http://www.usatoday....ston/53053070/1 Whitney Houston, superstar of records, films, dies LOS ANGELES (AP) – Whitney Houston, who reigned as pop music's queen until her majestic voice and regal image were ravaged by drug use, has died. She was 48. File photo by Chris Pizzello, AP Publicist Kristen Foster said Saturday that the singer had died, but the cause and the location of her death were unclear. At her peak in the 1980s and '90s, Houston the golden girl of the music industry and one of the world's best-selling artists. Among her hits were "How Will I Know," "Saving All My Love for You" and "I Will Always Love You." She won multiple Grammys including album and record of the year. Her success carried her beyond music to movies like "The Bodyguard." But by the end of her career, drug use took its toll as her record sales plummeted and her voice became raspy and hoarse.
  9. HOUSE M.D. is no more! FOX announced today that after eight seasons and 177 episodes, it will conclude the long-running medical drama at the end of this season. "The decision to end the show now, or ever, is a painful one, as it risks putting asunder hundreds of close friendships that have developed over the last eight years — but also because the show itself has been a source of great pride to everyone involved," said executive producers David Shore, Katie Jacobs and star Hugh Laurie in a joint statement. "Since it began, HOUSE has aspired to offer a coherent and satisfying world in which everlasting human questions of ethics and emotion, logic and truth, could be examined, played out, and occasionally answered. This sounds like fancy talk, but it really isn't. HOUSE has, in its time, intrigued audiences around the world in vast numbers, and has shown that there is a strong appetite for television drama that relies on more than prettiness or gun play." The show's current eighth season ratings have remained strong, particularly for a drama airing at 8pm. HOUSE, which airs on Monday nights has averaged 9.8 million viewers and a 3.9 rating in the adult demo which is pretty damn good considering. One factor in the decision has been the performance of a few of FOX's freshman shows, FINDER, ALCATRAZ and TERRA NOVA. All of which are expected to be picked up for second seasons so the chance the network would pony up for another year of HOUSE was slim at best. In November, star Hugh Laurie said he expects to retire from TV acting once the show goes off the air. Laurie has won numerous awards over the years for his role as Gregory House including an Emmy for best actor and two Golden Globes. The series itself has won a slew of awards as well. - Entertainment Weekly ----------------------------------------------------- Well, at least they can go out with a semi-bang instead of the whimper that most dramas seem to. While last year featured some of the worst episodes and the worst season-long story arc (House + Cuddy aka Huddy) of the series, they've picked back up this year with some pretty entertaining episodes. I'll miss it, but glad to see the show not over-staying its welcome.
  10. Happy birthday Bukake Charvel!
  11. RED (Retired: Extremely Dangerous) Good fun flick; Bruce Willis is perfect as the retired CIA agent just trying to live his life.
  12. Mousewife to momshell in the time it took to get that new tattoo...

  13. Ive thought about recording that. I care more about Keifer starting the shooting the 24 movie soon for a 2013 release! I really enjoyed the 1st Touch episode...anyone else watch it? Watched it, and thoroughly enjoyed it. FOX has done well for itself with Touch and Alcatraz; both are very good IMO.
  14. Insidious: Decent if you like a little suspense, but they kinda lost me with the whole astral projection thing. I'd have rather just had a good old fashioned haunting. Still, I got to see Rose Byrne for over an hour and a half, so that was nice.
  15. Freedom High School in Morganton, NC Let's see, Leon Johnson of UNC Tarheel and NY Jets fame, Paige Summers (Penthouse Centerfold), and Neil, Jon, and Eric from Copperhead. The other two members may have gone to Freedom too at some point, but I don't personally remember them while I was there.
  16. Super 8: Takes it a bit to get rolling, but better than I thought it would be. The kids seemed to really enjoy it. The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (Swedish version with Noomi Rapace): F'n awesome. Noomi OWNS the role of Lisbeth Salander, so I'm going to be really interested to see what Rooney Mara has done with it in the Hollywood version. She may match it, but I can't imagine her topping the original.
  17. When will Jillson - Deadly Girl be available? It's been showing as a pre-order for quite a while now.
