  1. I watch that show.....it does have some fairly hot chicks on it! Yours must be the Aussie version?! I'm not sure I remember 'Amanda'....however, I could be wrong. Who are the rest of the cast? Is there a website or something?
  2. Hope you have a kickass birthday Mark!
  3. Obviously their press corps is hoping people have forgotten about that whole "100 dead people in Rhode Island" thing already. I dont see that at all, its just a statement of fact. The last all new studio album prior to the 2007 album, Back to the rhythm, was the 1999 album, Cant get there from here! Point taken, but it also makes it sound like absolutely nothing happened in the G.W. camp between 1999 and the 2007 "reunion".... and we all know that ain't the truth! Why would there be a need to make it 'sound' as if anything unrelated to releasing material occurred during that time? I think the point is.....that 'what happened' had what to do with releasing albums? I mean, c'mon.....why would they mention that tragedy in a press release for the new album? If they didn't release any albums between those years...then there really is no reason to mention anything else..... And I don't think that their 'press corps' thinks that anyone forgot.......but I would venture to guess, and I'm sure the band wants it that way, is that people have moved on....and besides...they had a release SINCE the tragedy....so why rehash that part of their career? There's no need..... I'm not a huge Great White fan.....so the news of a new album is "well...ok, I'll see what this one sounds like to see if I'm even interested"....
  4. No 'wimpiness' in Pyromania......not quite as powerful as High N Dry for me....but certainly not 'wimpy' pop rock!!
  5. A total group effort.........
  6. My wife loves E. Dushku, as well....I'm sure we'll be watching it!
  7. Yes! I thought you'd dig that one!! One of my favorite EG tunes!!! The Story Of Our Lives - The Echoing Green Tonight our dreams are in our sights, as we're lifted out of nowhere with sunspots in our eyes, we see the glory of our lives our hearts are burning bright as we're lifted out of nowhere our songs all stay behind to sing the story of our lives This is the story of our lives anything and everything is meaningless when forever's waiting we're captivesto this place... for now so we take our hopes and hold them away chain them to the throes of yesterday but the chains are getting tight... Tonight our dreams are in our sights, as we're lifted out of nowhere with sunspots in our eyes, we see the glory of our lives our hearts are burning bright as we're lifted out of nowhere our songs all stay behind to sing the story of our lives in this place where lonlines is neverending condescending and leaves a bitter taste... for now and our hearts weighed down with nothing to say as darkness steals our innocence away but now we're seeing light... Tonight our dreams are in our sights, as we're lifted out of nowhere with sunspots in our eyes, we see the glory of our lives our hearts are burning bright as we're lifted out of nowhere our songs all stay behind to sing the story of our lives [The story of our, glory of our, story of our] The story of our lives [The story of our, glory of our, story of our] The story of our lives [The story of our, glory of our, story of our] [The story of our, glory of our, story of our] Tonight our dreams are in our sights, as we're lifted out of nowhere with sunspots in our eyes, we see the glory of our lives our hearts are burning bright as we're lifted out of nowhere The pain all falls behind Behold the glory of our lives [The story of our, glory of our, story of our] This is the story of our lives [The story of our, glory of our, story of our] Behold the glory of our lives [The story of our, glory of our, story of our] This is the story of our lives [The story of our, glory of our, story of our] Behold the glory of our lives [The story of our, glory of our, story of our lives] [The story of our, glory of our, story of our lives] This is the story of our lives
  8. Can't remember if I posted this little redhead for all the those that love that kinda chick....
  9. For those of you that like a little 'latin' flavor........
  10. Damn..........just.............damn.......!!!
  11. Again....... Alright Wot!! To stay on topic: Stereo on shuffle........now playing: The All American Rejects "The Wind Blows"
  12. I'm with you on this one mate. The 80's ruled (still rules)! That is my favourite decade in music. So many great artists, at least in the pop genre. The favourite of them all: Duran Duran. I'm a huge Duran fan, so I am definitely with ya there!!
  13. I really enjoyed both of their discs and would really excited to hear some new Southgang....as long as they still 'sound' like Southgang...!!
  14. Thanks J....just tryin' to do my part!!
  15. I mean.....once choice on this album is damn near impossible..... Ahh damnit...I'll just go with "Alone Again"...but seriously....I could have picked 6 others easily....
  16. I'd let her coach me anyday...!!!
  17. The Killers definitely have an 80's vibe goin' on...and I dig a bunch of their songs.
  18. Obviously her injury was preventing her from competing further, I don't think it was voluntary. Gordon would have never given her the jacket unless she was physically unable to continue. With that said...both of those up for elimination did poorly and should have been eliminated anyway. And Carol irritates me.... They guys are clearly the better 'chefs' at this point!
  19. Loverboy is definitely one of my favorites! Thanks for posting the links!
  20. YES!!! I've been collecting demo cassettes for over twenty years. Truthfully, I collect those more than CD's now.....and, to me, there are MANY MANY more kickass demos than there are rare CD's to be had....
  21. Again......Dark and moody early-80's type synth-pop that brings back memories of The Blockers pub in Luton, where this "avant-garde" form of synth mood music was held in high regard. Then it was off to the Mad Hatters nightclub. An unusual place, with 3 floors..... Basement - Disco, soul and Jazz-Funk and trying to pull the ladies Ground - Chart stuff and idle chit-chat. Top - Now we're talking..Synthy stuff,Alternative,New Wave, little bit of rock and then the dj's and crowds faves....Sisters Of Mercy,Early Cult,,The Mission,U2 etc. If you didn't mind smashed pint glasses, puke everywhere, nutters on the dancefloor doing some kind of primitive mosh, ciggie burns on your clothes and then trying to get down the stairs..It was a great fookin' night ! Again....sounds like a place I would have wanted to be Wot!!! Love the stories from 'back in the day'!! I can live vicariously through your experiences from then!!! THANKS!!
  22. You just don't know how much I would have loved to have been around England back in the day!!!
