Thanks everyone for trying.....A friend of mine had this on a cassette of songs.....but does not know who the band is....he just has the title...I tried searching the title and came up with nothing...

Could this band be Tamer Lane that came out in the late 80's possibly 1990? May be too melodic for them though...

When I played the song, it came up as artist "Tamer Lane". Theres a band by the name "Tamerlane". Not sure if its the same band. Musically they are different. Could have been an ealier incarnation of the band. Alice In Chains didn't start out grunge. In the late 80's they were a hair metal band. I had a friend who wore their t-shirt all the time back in early 89'.
