Riverside's 8th album just released. Some definite curve balls thrown into the mix with the 80's synths, but also some of their signature modern prog sounds as well.  A great, eclectic mix of modern, NEO and traditional progressive music and a belter of an album, with 'Friend Or Foe?' being a definite highlight

Rapid Eye Movement and Anno Domini High Definition are two of my favorite prog metal albums. They haven't released anything as good since then IMO but I really dig their emphasis on creating jarring atmospheres. Also, Mariusz Duda is an incredible bassist.

None of the samples from this album have held my attention but I've mostly been listening while at work. I'll have to sit down and pay closer attention.

I'm digging this... first I've ever heard of them. Is it just me or does the lead vocalist's timbre sound a lot like Robin Gibb?

I never realized that this was also released in "earbook" format with a blu-ray featuring the entire album in 5.1 surround, Dolby Atmos, and High resolution 96/24 stereo.
