I got this cd awhile ago and it was a completely unkown artist to me. It was cheap so I gave it a go.

The music is pretty awesome but I can't get over the singer's voice. Death metal. And highly melodic.

When the singer tones down the death vocals, it sounds awesome.

Imagine if the singer had a 'normal' voice. It would be a great disc.

What do you think?

I like this.

Missed the thread first time round. Not keen on the image and videos, but the tunes are good. And the vocals are cool too.

    • Listen to their self-titled, Infinity, Just Drive Part 1, and Runaways. Those are their best albums IMO. Also give Lovers Lake a try, it's written by the same guys and features one of their frequent guests on vocals so it's basically the same thing. This one is OK. A little better than the last one to me. I've been into the synthwave/retrowave scene for a while now so everything this band does is pretty predictable. Each of their albums has a couple duds and Canyons is no different, but their body of work is so big now that you could easily put together a great "best of" playlist. This is my favorite song on this new album:
    • Not even close to being the worst, and some defo do not belong on the list.
    • New video for 'Power' (with John Diva).
    • New song 'Love's The Drug'.
    • BITE THE BULLET – LOOKING FOR PARADISE Limited edition to 1000 CD copies only, all will be numbered 1-1000 Now is available for preorder, your can order your copy from: https://www.the-music-shop.net Release Date: 23 August 2024 Catalogue no: ESM391
