never had a car bra but I remember seeing them everywhere in the late 80's

I see the old ones from time to time but the height of popularity was definitely the 80's.

 

Our 2012 Outlander has one, only now they are a clear piece you can barely see that applies right to whatever part of the vehicle you want it on and it does the exact same thing as the old bras.
