Every Mother's Nightmare

Those of you that own the Perris Records pressing of this...

How is the quality of the inserts? Is is blurry and hard to read? How about the CD itself...pretty plain Jane?

I bought a copy of this and I think it is a crappy job on this (I don't have any problems with the seller, he/she is legit). The tunes themselves are decent enough but the packaging is just crap IMO. Unless I got some knockoff copy. That is why I want your descriptions.

Thanks.

Jeff

Dont actually have this one, but most of the Perris releases I do own are pretty piss poor packaging wise.

Yeah, Perris aren't known for having classy packaging and inserts, that's for sure.

I have a number of Perris releases and I totally agree, but this one seems over the top piss poor. I am totally confident the seller is a good one but I am wondering if this is a terrible "copy" or if Perris really put one out this bad?

Yeah mate, I don't have the CD anymore but what you have is the genuine article. There were 2 releases on Perris, I think, and both had artwork as bad as the other. Songwise, there wasn't much happening there either. HUGE fan of their first 2 albums - especially the brilliant 'Wake up screaming' - but I ended up selling/trading both these Perris discs. Only a shadow of a band they once were...

Yeah, I don't care for a lot of the songs on this one but it is nice to know it is a real copy, even though a crappy one.

Thanks for the info Geoffo.

    • So some may remember that Tyketto toured recently and aside from Forever Young, I never delved into this band. So I did, so I'd know the songs in concert and was blown away. A great band with an awesome catalog that I had missed out on. To be fair, in the 80's it was a lot harder to access and find out about a lot of the more fringe bands, that's my excuse anyway. So I now am faced with digging deeper into some other bands I've overlooked. Some of these I gave a go, and wasn't really impressed, but now I'm starting fresh with an open mind. So below is a list of bands I have eitehr never bothered with, or never really gave a proper go. Lizzy Borden is on the list and I have done a bit of their stuff and like it a lot, so I will definately dig deeper into them (I've got some older stuff and some newer stuff, but have skipped quite a few albums) But the others, fire away, tell me which bands have killer material that I'll froth and how stppid I've been to skip them. • I like the album art. I love when contemporary Glam Metal bands have album art with a genuine 80s vibe to it.
    • Nope, for a while, I used to think Rapunzel from Tangled (2010) was hot... But then I stopped being attracted to cartoon characters.
    • This is definitely the first time I've heard about it, I'll have to give it a listen!
