Retrospect new offering recommendation

can you recommend several great CDs from this site ?

too many there and almost never heard of them before, so if there's something good, i might be picking up several CDs for next month's order

They are boots. Not the greatest quality. But if you are really after some of the music on the list then maybe,,,,

 

But if I was you, stay away since they fairly rubbish boots. Just my 3 cents,,,

yes i'm after the music, but if the print and CD is in worst physical quality, then i'll avoid, otherwise, please feed me with recommendation

A bunch of problems with these:

 

1. They are cdrs ( I have some).

2. There is some cool music but they are cdrs.

3. They are bootlegs and the sound quality in some is not very good.

Find someone who has a bunch and throw them a little cash to send you the music if that is what you are after.

Unless the sound quality has gotten worse over the last year all the ones I bought(about 45) sounded excellent.

 

There are many great sounding bands on the site.

 

I wont get into this cdr/silver pressed discussion as we have had it so many times it is boring

 

If you are worried about this ask Sam before purchasing.

 

If you want to listen to good music you wont find anywhere else then they are the right place to go

I think the guys are not talking about the standard RR releases, but about those special "Time Warp", etc. releases that Sam is offering on his site lately. I don't quite understand that business practice, but who am I to question it ?!

My bad I didnt notice the link. Anytime I see Retrospect come up I assume its gonna be bad

 

I dont think I ever bought any of those releases and can only assume by the responses they must not make the grade

I won't buy any Time Warp CDs because:

 

They are CHEAP (and I mean CHEAP) CD-R bootlegs.

 

I know someone in a band who's material was ripped off by them, they pressed their CD without any of the band members permission.
