So he is getting older,I Know. But why drifting away in the musical direction too.

Was he a fake in the 90's??? Don't think so!!! I believe thhat if he really wanted he could still rock the hell out like old times...

Well he is back with Britny Fox supposedly, so will have to see how that plays out.

I don't think there's been any kind of follow up since that original annoucement back when they first reunited so I'm interested to hear something new if their doing an album or tour or what's going on.

I'd love to hear an old school BF disc with Dizzy or Tommy or even hear Dizzy do a new Blackeyed Susan disc that has the same type of sound.

Oooooooh great news about reuniting BF.

iF they make it I hope it sounds good like old times...

But my point is why he decided to put an album like ''Driving my Karma''?

I mean so light & smooth.

Almost no electric guitars in it...

Reminds me Of Kiske (Helloween).

His first solo was ''sth'' different from what we expected...

Some bring the :git: back please...lol

    • NGL, I like this better than previous efforts. *shrug*   EDIT: They posted this on Facebook back on September 6:   Hi everyone,   As we had planned, we would like to share our thoughts regarding the change in our lead singer.   Lionville and Lars Säfsund have mutually and peacefully decided to part ways. Together with Frontiers, we chose to announce the news in conjunction with the announcement of our new single (and album) so you can have the chance to hear the new singer.   Of course, there are reasons behind our decision to go separate ways, most of those will remain private, as they should. We are sure you can understand and respect this point. Sometimes change is necessary and represents an opportunity for growth and openness to new possibilities including performing live if all conditions permit.   We want to emphasize that Lionville is the result of a team effort and not just the work of one individual. Lionville has always been, and will continue to be, a winning combination of all these elements.   We wish Lars all the best that life and music can offer, and we thank him for contributing to what Lionville has become over the years. He remains a great friend and an amazing singer. Now, please welcome our new frontman, Alexander Strandell. Not only is Alex a fantastic person, but as you may have already noticed, he is an outstanding vocalist, truly one of the best around. He will be a great addition to Lionville.   Lastly, we want to thank those who have shown appreciation for the new single and this new chapter of Lionville, as well as those who respectfully expressed their discontent. Communication between us as human beings helps us grow into better people, even when faced with criticism.   Enjoy the music and stay positive!
    • Haha, yeah, that video's worth watching. Nice song too. I'm surprised by how ancient these guys are, having not heard of them before... that I know of? It's all very 80's inspired and sounding and not bad. Would be worth checking out.
    • Business as usual. Solid stuff, as usual.
    • Yeah, this either really works for them, or a large portion of their fan base, or both. Someone's gotta be digging it for them to keep churning this stuff out. But I, am not one of the diggers.
    • Yeah, pretty crazy how they ended up being one of the biggest bands on the planet. Good luck to them.
    • Very interesting indeed. A shame it's only so few songs as they had so many absolute belters, but this is definitely something I'll have to check out. Whilst the re-recording obviously doesn't quite capture the magic of the original, it's definitely a hell of a lot better than nothing and it still sounds pretty bloody good.
