I recently picked up an EP called 'Beelzebubs in Heaven' by an Aussie band called Shivai. The person I bought it from compared them to a lighter version of Skid Row. Anyone else heard of this band? Did they release anything else?

 

What I do know about this band is that they were formed after the demise of another Aussie band called 'Serpentine' and featured Zakk Zedras of Roxus and Drogonfly on guitar. Other band members were Skye Patricks and Rexx Fernandez.

afaik, the band didnt release anything else. it was by chance I picked up this e.p with the serpentine & dragonfly e.p's at radical records some 10 years back. You use to rsee these e.p's regularly around melbourne.

The first track has a bit of an early 90's Skid Row sound going on. The rest of it sounds like pretty average mid 90's hard rock, a bit on the alternative side maybe.
