Have any of you watched this, Dr. Drew is a very patient man, at what point do you throw all train of logical thought out the window, and grab that fucking snivelling cunt Kari Ann Peniche by the hair, and put a boot mark right between her fucking eyes? that's the type of bitch that deserves 2 black eyes and a broken face!

Yeah that Kari Ann chick is crazy IMO and I would of already tossed her to the street.

Who the f#@k is she anyway?

I know Phil Varone, Amber Smith and Kendra Jade(although I didn't know she was married to Lukas Rossi) but I don't know the other people.

Kari Ann Peniche was Ms.Teen Oregon, and Miss Teen America, was in Playboy, and is formerly famous for fucking Nick Carter while she was engaged to Aaron Carter, or vise versa! and is obviously nuts, paranoid, narcisistic, and on top of all that, a fucking cunt!!!

the short haired quiet chick is Jennifer Ketchum, or as I know her, Penny Flame the very talented porn actress,IMO,

the dude that looks like Jeff Spicoli is Jamie Lovett the Pro Surfer

the black chick is the infamous Nicole Narain, she is the chick in the Collin Farrell sex video, I think she also is a Playboy Playmate,

I have no clue who the dipshit looking dude with the conehead is! I guess they must have had a small pool of sex addicts to pick from while casting the show?? because he not only looks like a pedophile, is far from normal looking like the rest of the cast, he sticks out like a soar thumb!

He is some kind of director and I did some big movie like 5 years ago but I can't remember the name of it. If you watch the first episode they talk about it and how he went to prison for a year.

Well Geoff, until you told me, I had no clue all that american tv and movie was available outside of America, I mean why would I? we don't have access to Aussie tv and movies(except Romper Stomper), but I have to ask! do you have VH1 over there? and if so, is it the american VH1 or is it a VH1 Aussie channel? well if you have VH1 and you have scene other Dr. Drew shows like Celebrity Rehab, or shows like Flavor of Luv, Id have to guess it probably is on over there, one time you said you get American shows weeks or months after they are on in America, (or one of you guys said that) in that case, Sex Rehab is only in the 2nd or 3rd week, it's brand new, in any case, don't lose sleep over it, it's not really that great, I usually hate these shows, but im a sucker for Dr.Drew, but this cunt he's got on this show, GOD!!! I literally was seconds from turning it off, before I gave my tv the Dr. Marten Dental Plan!

I don't think we get any full US TV channels over here, just all the separate TV shows - though to be honest I have no idea what Foxtel offers. That's our primary source of Pay TV here and they have hundreds of channels. But the fact you have to pay for it means I'll never get it.

I'm sure this show is somewhere on Pay TV in Australia... I just wish it was on free-to-air. :)

You didn't know we got US TV shows here? Dudeness, 90% of TV here is from US. Pretty sure it's that way all around the world too.

Yeah, Australia has plenty of it's own shows. I was probably exaggerating that 90% is US, but most of it is. But the sad fact is, like US shows, most the Aussie ones are garbage. One series I honestly believe you foreigners are missing out on is 'Underbelly'. We've had 2 series so far, each based on two eras in Aussie underworld crime, and both have been truly excellent.

Other than that, we're like the US - we have shitty cop/crime shows, shitty hospital shows (though I promise you 'All Saints' was better than any of those fucked up 'Greys Anatomy'-type shows), Aussie versions of the more popular reality TV shows, a soapie here and there before they're quickly axed... we have it all, but like the rest of the world most of it just sucks dog balls. Better off just sticking with the US version of the best show ever, 'Survivor' and 'Family Guy'.

The shock jock you want to hear is Kyle Sandilands. Are you serious that he even made the news in the US? For the 13 year old girl who'd been raped on his radio show + the concentration camp weight loss comments?

And you're right - American media is NOT that good. It's terrible, like everywhere else. But there are gems amidst the garbage.

As for movies, I only watch US ones as sadly, with the exception of one or two Aussie films, you guys are the only ones that do it right.

No we did it right! Hollywood wouldnt have a creative idea, if the japanese made a movie out of one, and released it! Oh! wait a minute, that's were any creative movie coming from the usa gets the idea! I work part time in radio, have since high school, Im very well informed on the happenings of radio around the world, his schananigans didnt make news over here outside the radio world! but, amidst all the BS and lunacy he causes, what I have heard is he's a talent, unfortunatly we would have a hard time being shocked by anything over hear, I mean Howard Stern, Tom Leykis, Opie and Anthony, Bubba The Love Sponge, and the greatest of all time, Phil Hendrie! you should check him out geoff, he does the voice of himself, and whoever his guest is, idiots that don't have a clue call in to question whatever lunacy he is instigating, and they have No idea it's the same guy as the host, clever and one of a kind shit, and always promises for a good laught.

As far as american tv, their is 1 show I watch(other then Flight Of The Conchords)which you probably don't like cause they are from New Zealand! but if it's ever on over there, dude check out Sons Of Anarchy! it's made by the guy who used to do a show called The Shield, only it's about a motorcycle gang, and the guy who writes it, Kurt Sutter, hates everything about the american tv industry, you should check out his blog, it's hilarious, he's the anti corporation writer! good shit, and well worth my 1 hour every tuesday night!

I have to admit, their stupid dry brand of comedy, doesnt leave me rolling on the floor, but definetly makes me laugh out loud! especially their manager, that does roll call everyday, and theirs fucking 2 of them?? also when he's trying to give them a pep talk, he says, "look at wham! do you guys think wham got where they are by not touring" oh god, that had me rolling, I have to admit, as I myself use Wham whenever a smart ass remark or post is in order, as I cant think of anybody else more un-cool, maybe Thompson Twins.

    • As it is released now... Overall I really like like. Even if you'll hate me for this, I think I prefer their new stuff over their 80's hits. There's not a single song I don't like on this album just some little details. In the past they used to have more backing vocals. This time they often concentrate on "Aaaw"s. That makes some of rhe hooklines a bit smaller than they are. Here and there I feel the vocals are too loud in the mix. Especially in the last song. Next to the singles, "Speed of Darkness", "Live by Fire", "In my hands", "automatic survival" and "Waiting is the way" are really great in my ears
    • I think it's still a good album but it doesn't feel complete to me. Having 13 songs on "Nothing but wild" or 9 songs and a cover is a difference... There's one ballad but more of a country ballad. I loved their power ballads and I miss one one this album. I also miss the heavier side. Even the heavy songs on this album are quite soft...
    • I don't mind any of the three tracks, to be fair. The new single is the best of the bunch, imo, but for me it's missing an obvious hook. The chorus part just seems to happen, and happens, but doesn't leave something to chew on. The cover is tacky, but is what it is. First song still 50/50, but overall it's all serviceable. If there's an album due I hope it's more than "serviceable" but I find myself just happy to hear new music from them.
    • Spun this the other day, knowing nothing about them. I came away quite impressed. A few nice cuts like 'Rodeo,' 'Not sorry,' 'Jackhammer' and 'Not afraid.' As for what it is, it's just hard rock to me. I guess slightly modern, but I find it wild that something like this would need further clarification that just hard rock.
    • I've enjoyed a few recent releases from these guys but gotta admit I was a bit underwhelmed by this. 'Attracted To Danger' was my favourite track but for me it falls short of at least the album two releases back. I think the last one was a bit lukewarm for me too. Okay for what it is.
    • Haha, I have actually used that one a bit, cob. You think it makes a big difference? Always so hard to tell which prompts land and which don't when you use 10 or so prompts. But I'll be sure to keep that one up front, though. And play with it tonight.  I used the "big production" one again last night and songs were definitely crisper than the night before when a lot of my results were very "treble-y" for lack of a better term. So big production and big drums up high in the mix tonight.  Anyway, peaks and troughs. I'm going through a passage where I'm penning a whole bunch of new tracks. I do a lot of driving, but also a quite a bit of walking for my job, and I've got in the habit of jotting stuff down in my Notes app whenever something comes to me as I walk around, and trying to pump out a few new tunes. A few by-the-numbers melodic rock tracks mostly, but I got one yesterday and I really loved the outcome. A bit of a more "random" tune, but I'll be cursed if I don't actually quite like how this one came out; https://suno.com/song/885e4b14-3e08-45cf-8e33-d2e1cfd04e42
    • I have to agree sadly.  I've said it before, but Steve's passing showed that Gotthard were basically a Steve Lee backing band.
    • I guess this is a bit of a Gotthard appreciation thread now. Their debut is the best for me (I was lucky enough to own this when it was first released). Followed closely behind by the others mentioned.  Here's three of my favourites from the debut. "Angel" was the first Gotthard song I heard and was blown away by. "Firedance" is a Killer with a Killer guitar solo featuring guest guitarist Vivian Campbell and "Hush" is the first in their long line of great cover tracks.
    • This is the correct answer. With Steve, I assume, is what you mean.
    • Domino Effect, Lipservice, and Need to Believe were the last with Steve, and are all quite different. G. is my favourite album of theirs. The debut and Dial Hard are pretty much the exact same sound, but I could only pick one, because they asked for five suggestions. ;}
