Happylife - 'The Way You Hate Me'

I'd never seen this CD mentioned before until I saw it in the Wishingwell sales. It was only a few dollars and after a quick visit to their myspace page I took a chance on it. Paid off wonderfully.

 

This is really good, solid modern melodic rock. They have a great ear for a good hook.

A CD of two halves, and the second half is the clear loser. Some good tracks at the start, though.

I picked up a whole buncha Atenzia CD's from the recent NEH sale but didn't see this one. Might have to pick it up next time I see it cheap. I see they have another album as well.

Hey mate, watch out for that. I am under the impression it is the same album with a different name. One was released on Atenzia with another name (the one I have - can't remember the name off the top of my head) and the title of this thread is the same release, I believe, with a different name, and maybe not on Atenzia?

Vocals are similar to Placebo's Brian Molko. Not bad on the first listen.
