Knight - Bet Everything

Just picked up the Knyght 'Bet Everything' EP. as I heard the tracks over at their myspace and wanted to investigate further. As with the Eye EP. mentioned elsewhere, there are some good ideas again going on, but this time I really do think the vocals are pretty poor overall and spoil what could have been a nice EP.

I was checking these guys out the other day, even to the put of emailing them about getting these ep's. Nice guys. Potential musically for future. Awful vocals.

Yeah, Tommy was a very nice guy and the EP. came through really quick. I hate criticising young bands that are obviously putting alot of effort into what they are doing and overall this is not a bad release at all, but as I said, the vocals do spoil it somewhat. I know he isn't singing in his native tongue and the vocals are a little accented, but they do go off key quite often, which is the problem here.

Hmmm, sorry guys. Wasn't really into that. As you said, the vocals are bad but even the songs were just way too basic for me. As Jez said, though, I don't like being harsh on these new bands and I hope they stick at it because it sounds like there may be some potential here.

Not bad at all , very popular in the home country of Italy . I think if they get a little more time some money the right Producer and I think we will have a great band . They have another EP out before this that was very close musically to this one .

    • I'm sure you remember as I do the "Black and White Minstrel Show". These days it's incredible to think that this was considered wholesome family viewing at the time.  There's absolutely no way something like this would fly today.
