  1. I actually finnished that book a couple of weeks ago. Not the best of the the Camel Club books but Baldacci's books are allways enjoyable,,, Anybody listening to Audiobooks here. Ron Maclarty is a great reader (he usually reads the Baldacci books)
  2. One of his best songs IMO!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iyJEytBlp1I&feature=BF&list=MLGxdCwVVULXc_mg1dYfAHDSoKGNkLdpRF&index=2
  3. What a shock!!! RIP Gary. Glad I saw him last summer. One last time

    Accept

Accept was one of the first bands I listened to when I first got into MHR an Heavy metal. I rated them one of the best for many years. Then a couple of years ago I stopped listening to them. Sudddenly I couldn't stand UDO's voice anymore. Strange!!! But then last year it all came back to me again. I bought Restless a, Metal heart and Russian remasters together with the live album. And they magic was still there. I think they have done some of the best Heavy metal songs out there. On par with the mighty Prist. These two play in there own league when it comes to true heay metal IMO. Geoff, I have allways loved the Eat the heat album but I don't really rate it as a pure Accept album. It's sad that the production job on this isn't the greatest. The drum sound are really bad. But you can live with that with the fantastic songs on the album. And Reese deos a hell of a job too. I think Predator is a fairly good album as well. It has some fillers but some really good ones as well. Run through the night is spectacular,,,
  5. Winger blew Scorpions big time on that tour... IMO

    Accept

That disc should be really cheap to buy.
  8. Isn't Vibe the Jap version of Helter Skelter?
  9. apart from the fact that the first track sounds exactly like 'Hunger' ;-) I have to agree that it's fairly close to HUnger which is one of my favorite BH songs.
  10. Love that Dennis Leary quote and I've been known to use it, to my wife's dismay, quite regularly... For me this is a toughie, I've seen some GREAT bands in both arena venues and clubs. Best "arena" show/band probably Judas Priest. Hell of an impressive stage show, saw them on Defenders of the Faith (great White opened this show supporting theur Stick It release) I'm really jealous about the Defenders show you saw. And with GW at their best with the raw Stick it. The Turbo tour was my first concert actually,,, It's hard to say which shows have been the best but,,, Def Leppard - Hysteria tour in Gothenburg was great. You could see the joy to be back on stage,,, Danger Danger - Sweden Rock 2004 . Bruno Ravel usually says this is one of the best DD shows ever. I have to agree with him It was pure magic with Ted stage diving and,,, Gotthard - Gothenburg 2008. The were on fire this evening in this small venue and the crowd helped them lift the roof,,,
  11. It's one of my favorite bands. I have followed them since the debut. Steve's death was a tragedy but I think it is good that they try to move on. They are a great bunch of lads and I hope and pray that they will find the right lad for the job. It will be hard for me to listen to Gotthard without Lee but it might be a great 'new' band to discover,,, to be continued,,,,
  12. Wow, really? I LOVE Mason's voice. A huge reason why I loved Lynch Mob's debut was because of Oni Logan's awesome voice and I was hurt to learn he was not on the 2nd one, until I heard the 2nd one with Mason and I thought he was just as good. Great vocalist. I love the Silent Witness disc too. And he adds a lot to Big Cock to with his vocals alone. Yeah, don't know why that should be a surprise, mate, as I've probably praised his voice countless times on the forum and on the main site. I'm wit you Geoff. Mason has an unbelievable voice. He is amazing on the Lynch MOb album.
  13. I thought they have only relesed two albums,,,
  14. I will investigate. Are they all similar to this, with multiple vocalists? I think you will like the second one Geoff. It's called DReam Runner and it's an excellent slice of melodic rock with such great singers as Glen Hughes, John Wetton, Max Bacon and not least the late Ray Gillen. His sings his lungs out in No retreat, no surrender which is a clear winner. Judge for yourself. It's just great: This was actually one of the first album I bought on cd when it was released.
  15. i recieved this baby in the mail today (cheers Dave). What a great album this is. It has Icon self-titled written all over it. I have listen to it a number of times today and I think is a great slice of melodic metal and I relly like the singer. Is it more here that think this is a great piece of round piece of plastic material.
  16. Fantastic Trade with Dave (LV KIX) Cheers for the great Retrospect releases
  17. Magic Mirror - Yngwie Malmsteen
  18. Devil it finnished just now actually and it wasn't that good,,,,
