  1. Ted Nugent - Album Classics box Ted Nugent - State of Shock Night by Night - NxN Ra - From One
  2. One album - stranded on an island....has to be ISOLATION (hahahaha!) - which I would probably choose anyway. Right wise words from funk....pre-ordered standard issue, Jez has spent too much of my money for me in the past
  3. Torn between regular issue and deluxe, do I need a documentary about the making of the album? I've got so many discs like that with DVDs that have never been watched....someone ... make my mind up for me
  4. Chicago - Stone of Sisyphus Pure Reason Revolution - The Dark Third Pure Reason Revolution - Hammerand Anvil PRR - Cautionary Tales for the Brave (e.p.)
  5. Yep - ordered mine Monday and it arrived today (Tuesday), good fast delivery. But...I know you are not into this Bernd, it looks like it may be a pro CDr.
  6. Shattered Skies - The World We Used to Know
  7. Yes - Live at Montreaux 2003 Jon Anderson - Binaural in Boston Big Linda - I Loved You
  8. I saw them once back in the day as AOK, but I can't remember if it was at the Banshee or (as I suspect) Rockworld. But I might be getting the venues mixed up as I saw Sam Thunder (who having split some members went to form AOK) at Rockworld as well or was it the Banshee (doh!) as I think ST did a re-union one off there once (saw ST at Bury MET too). But alas didn't go to Firefest as I'm not really into these weekend long stints these days (not that I could make it) - but it is good to see them getting some serious attention at last. I believe they are playing the HRH AOR weekend in North Wales next year. Here's a bit I posted about them in the video forum a while ago http://heavyharmonies.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=28942
  9. Beards....band of beards...beards are good...so is this - Will be picking this up methinks!
  10. Ramones - Adios Amigos ABWH - S/T (expanded version) Edgar Broughton Band - The Harvest Years box REO Speedwagon - You Get What You Play For (jap CD) Cream - Wheels of Fire (1968 Canadian vinyl pressing - thick, thick sleeve and wax) plus like that Jez fella I read the Classic AOR mag and picked up....The Pilot stuff (and grabbed Two's a Crowd as well). Thought I should as they were a huge part of Alan Parsons Project and I've always had a soft spot for 'em - but seeing as they were in said mag I've no excuse now to indulge in a guilty pleasure. Plus it'll please my mate at work who never stops singing their praises. Now will Jez pick up the Cliff Richard albums also mentioned??? Hahaha! and that IS it until after Christmas (this time I mean it!)
  11. Jon Anderson - Lost Tapes of Opio Steven Wilson - Hand. Cannot. Erase. deluxe (pre-order) ...and that's it until after Christmas.
  12. Trailer Park Boys - Don't Legalise it
  13. Toto - Falling In Between Live Moxy - s/t Moxy - II Moxy - Ridin' High Billy Thorpe - 21st Century Man ABWH - An Evening of Yes Music Plus Kitaro - Dream Jon & Vangelis - Private Collection
  14. I think this might appeal top a few of the proggy folks here. The band feature Dave Gregory (XTC) and as such the two albums they have released are filled with his beautifully melodic playing. The albums are Wired to Earth and the latest Scorch. Here's a couple of songs.
  15. The Family (Robert de Niro) cool kind of black comedy.
  16. Morningstar - s/t Morningstar - Venus Morningstar - Live
  17. I think you meant to direct that towards Geoffery. And he's probably never heard that song. He has no patience for Classic Rock. I've heard the song... regrettably. Haha, nah, it's okay for bland radio rock... kind of like Foo Fighters! But yeah, okay, fair enough if that's who he is. Still never heard of him. I always thought Eric Clapton was The Eagles' guitarist, wasn't he? What do I care anyway... not my type of music at all. Seriously?! I appreciate it might not be your thing, but ... seriously?? Geoffers..... are you guys so cut off in Oz 10 solo albums not counting live releases, The Barnstorm album or the James Gang albums. Never mind Eagles. Seriously his solo his stuff is some of the moist diverse stuff I have ever heard from a guitarist .... probably because he cares about songs and not (as most guitarists incessantly insist on doing) just showing off his chops!
  18. Yeah that was a cool documentary, I like the guy he seems to have a lot of passion for his music but the Foos are just not for me. I've tried liking them but I just find them boring.
  19. Jon Anderson - From Me To You Jon and Vangelis - The Friends of Mr. Cairo (CD to compliment vinyl!) Jon & Vangelis - Page of Life (Esoteric version) Jon & Vangelis - Page of Life (Omtown version) Jon & Vangelis - Short Stories Jon Anderson - The More You Know Amplifier - Residue E.P.
