I got a copy of this EP last night plus a bio.
The tunes are really good. Their bio said something to the effect of that their image is a bit of a 'piss-take' but they take their music seriously. Just had 1 listen but this is some pretty good stuff. Maybe halfway between Teargas and Wigwam. The music is solid, but the focus a bit cheesy at times.
Halfway between Teargas and Wigwam? Am i in love???
is it a cdr?
pretty sure it was silver pressed.
oh, and my comparison is going on only 1 listen so don't take that as gospel.

taramis-queen of thieves by a country mile.then enfticer's 7" inch single, vauxdvihl's to dimension logic, pegazus' wings of destiny. have to search though for some titles mentioned in this thread. thanx.
i've got the cd taramis - stretch of the imagination.
-
Yes, got mine too (althouhg one of the discs was blank so am waiting for a replacement!).
I was told prior to forking over the cash that one was pressed and one was cdr, but as just pointed out above... both are cdr. (I'm guessing he meant a professinally produced cd... even though it is actually a cdr).
-
new ones from Hardcore Superstar and Babylon Bombs. And Bon Jovi too... if it's a rock record.
-
Crazy Lixx~ Loud Minority
Great album.

surprising that Dean Geyer bloke hasn't replied here. Where is he?
Who's Dean Geyer?
Dean Geyer is an Australian Idol contestant who tunrs up on here and comments every now and then.
BTW, I think my 'I Want It' idea it an awesome idea, but maybe no-one else does////

what? my thread wasnt good enough?
which thread is that? the one about sandwiches.....?

I recently picked up the cd 'Sleazy Dream' from these guys and it's killer.
It's a glorious mix of gritty 80's hair metal (eg cinderella/gnr) with a retro classic rock sound (eg led Zepplin)
check them out here:
http://www.myspace.com/ugattack
click on the track 'savage side' and have a listen.
this one doesn't have the retro feel to it like a lot of the other tracks, but it totally rocks

Transformers - on dvd. Crap. I tried watching twice. First time fell asleep. 2nd time justturned off half way thru. Is that the worst movie made or what? ...and I'd heard it was pretty good.
Animated or Live Action?
I love 'em both, but I can understand people not caring for the new one.
live action.
horrible i thought.
