Gran Torino What a GREAT movie. Probably one of the best flicks I have seen in five years or so. Plus, it was written by a guy I graduated High School with, pretty cool.

This album kicks some major ass. Not a bad tune on it. Go get it. You will not be disappointed.

My kids are singing Out of Reach all the time, so I guess you get the house approval for that tune Pete!!! Talk to Me is still their fave however!!! Mine too!!! Excellent album except for that Meatloaf tune....

This such a fun album. Just what we 80's rockers like. Pure fun. Excellent.

I like this album and much like some of the comments above, believe its their best to date. This will get lots of spins this Summer at the lake.

Yeah I know what you mean, I would really like to see them too. To bad they aren't going to be there... But I saw Firehouse back on April 10th, and they put on one of the BEST performances that I've seen...they still sound great live. I agree that Firehouse definately brings it when they perform but as Wes said, I'm disappointed that White Lion won't be there. But a few beers from the beerbarrow and I will get over it We'll do our best to warm up the beerbarrow for you on Thursday night. Sure, rub it in that I cannot be there until Friday.....

Baton Rouge is Keeling last I heard but the singer in Icon has escaped me but I know for sure it's a new guy and not either of the old singers. I would hope it's Kelly Keeling as he was the heart and soul of that band. I bet the Icon singer is neither Harrison nor Clifford, which is too bad. I am a Clifford guy, much better vocalist FOR THAT BAND IMO.

How did you like the new tunes on the MySpace page with Alex on vocals? I will check them out when I get home. I own their cd, I have spun it quite a few times over the years and it just does not stick with me. Hopefully they will be better live and with the new vocalist.

I love Talon! Very good band. It will be very cool to see them live and hopefully meet the band! Not impressed with the Tango Down cd. I just cannot get into that one.

This just posted on the DRF Website: ARE YOU READY TO ROCK? GOOD NEWS - BAD NEWS! We just learned that White Lion has canceled all of it's dates this year for an undisclosed reason. A big thank you goes out to my friends Firehouse for stepping up on such short notice and taking White Lions place. All in all I think we all win. Firehouse always show up and puts on an excellent show that never disappoints. Also, we have to announce the addition of a band sure to please. Talon will appear on the Dakota Rock Fest stage on Friday. Don't miss them as they are sure to please. The days are counting down. Get your camping reservations and tickets now. We want to see a sea of rockers. DO IT AGAIN! GREAT NEWS that Talon was added!!! Bad news, no White Lion. I was looking forward to seeing them again. No rip on Firehouse but I have seen them a bazillion times. Always a good show but I am a bit disappointed.
