  1. When Bon Jovi toured Australia I think 4 years ago all the women in my office at the time were arranging to see him. They all liked his new stuff and werent fans of the 80s output. It seems his main fanbase these days (pun intended) are women aged 40+ and he writes his music for this fanbase. Fair enough. But not for me.
  2. I have that album. Good Aussie band.
  3. I'm the opposite to Geoff. Not excited at all. I HATE country Bon Jovi and I bet it is the same shit. I can't see any chance of getting an album like their first 5. I mean anyone who still calls themselves die-hard Bon Jovi fans based on their last 25 years must enjoy the crap he keeps dishing out release after release.
  4. Who knew there were so many pink beach albums.
  5. Halestorm - Into the Wild Life Morningstar - Venus (Rock Candy Remaster) Roadmaster - Hey World (Rock Candy Remaster) Masters Apprentices - The Very Best of Rage Against the Machine - Renegades Rage Against the Machine - Evil Empire Pavement - Brighten the Corners Kanye West - Graduation
  6. I read somewhere they are doing some mentoring of younger band talent or something? Cause like Sweden doesn't already produce the most hard rock bands in the world at the moment anyway...
  7. How many bands/projects has this dude been in already? I get it, he is a good player, but seriously he must be going for the record!
  8. Is this the same Fear Not who released an album way back in 1993? Very good hard rock album.
  9. Keepers of the Flame - Ignition Cats in Space - Day Trip to Narnia Golden Grass - Coming Back Again Fleetwood Mac - Mirage Fleetwood Mac - Behind the Mask Fleetwood Mac - Time Fleetwood Mac - The Dance Steely Dan - Katy Lied (Remaster)
  10. I guess I have to remember it isn't THE actual top 5 hard rock albums of the year, it is just Dan's top 5.
  11. Ok I will throw out a few more just because. Arctic Rain - Unity Grand Design - Rawk Mammoth WVH - II Seventh Crystal - Wonderland Winger - Seven
  12. 1. Crowne - Operation Phoenix 2. Streetlight - Ignition 3. The Defiants - Drive 4. Tempt - Tempt 5. Eclipse - Megalomanium
  13. Me too. I find this really annoying every year but I gotta find out the answer! 😜
  14. I like the idea of a reservation where we could live in peace as HH fans.
  15. 1. The Defiants - Drive 2. Hugo's Voyage - Inception 3. Temple Balls - Avalanche 4. Creye - III: Weightless 5. Midnite City - In at the Deep End
  16. Steely Dan - The Royal Scam (Remaster) The Jezabels - The Man is Dead EP The Jezabels - She's so Hard - EP The Jezabels - Dark Storm EP The Jezabels - Synthia The Jezabels - Prisoner The Jezabels - The Brink Fleetwood Mac - Original Album Classics (3 CD Box)
  17. Yeah, five Journey albums in the top ten would be more accurate.
  18. I heard it's been hard for him to get a lift off Epstein's Island recently. Also, where's NYOilers at?
  19. LeRoux - Last Safe Place (Rock Candy remaster) Alice in Chains - Rainer Fog Fleetwood Mac - Original Album Series (Boxset) Fleetwood Mac - Tusk (Remaster) Fleetwood Mac - Say You Will (2CD Mediabook) Fleetwood Mac - Heroes are Hard to Find Steely Dan - Pretzel Logic (Remaster) Steely Dan - Countdown to Ecstasy (Remaster) INXS - Live Baby Live
  20. Nice! Love a good rocking track that is a slower tempo. Not everything has to be flat out to Rock Hard.
  21. I don't think he is as good as Bach in his prime but few are... but he is definitely not an asshole like Bach appears to be though.
  22. Mick Mars seems to get people arguing these days. Or is it Orianthi? She's a better looking reason.
  23. I agree completely. I was surprised by some of my obscure-ish faves appearing. Obviously the writer knows his stuff a bit and I reckon more of the albums we mention a lot that didn't sell as much would have appeared in a top 100. I know many picks are predictable but it would also be weird if they weren't there, right?
