  1. Completely agree. Their 80s stuff has blown away the 90s songs they've done.
  2. Agreed. That's a really, really good cover.
  3. Any new release from these guys is going to be greeted with great enthusiasm from me so am definitely looking forward to this one.
  4. Just a review on melodic.net calling it great.
  5. It's a mess. The vocals were poorly recorded and the mix is off.
  6. Over the years, I've never really given Slaughter a chance, mainly because I hated the first album. Bought it because of "Up All Night" and that ended up being the only song I liked. Thought the rest was pretty bad, to say the least. Gave the songs from that album a listen on the links above and, well, no change. Still hate 'em.
  7. I don't mind that song but, man, it's just not Sunstorm.
  8. OK, so this one is weird for me. I like the original - the "Stop" remix, which this covers. This seems like a pretty good representation of the song. It's certainly a lot better than some they've done. And, yet, it somehow all adds up to "it sucks" to me. Not sure why.
  9. Never liked Vixen. I wanted a harder edge, more like Saraya. Not bad just never something I really enjoyed. The second album stuff is better than I remembered though.
  10. Definitely eager to hear this. Anybody know what he was doing before Perfect Plan?
  11. Amen. A throwback video with a story or some semblance of one and a top-notch song. I love it!
  12. The first album is brilliant. The second one starts off hot but drifts in the second half, IMO. Still really good though. It's a shame we never got a quality 3rd album.
  13. That first song is good. Not great but good. Chorus could be a little stronger. I have no doubt the album will be great and it'll be a day one pickup for me, that's for sure.
  14. Yeah, those are really good. Should've been released!
  15. Never heard of these guys before but that first track is good. Not at all what I was expecting.
  16. Robbie's been busy - he just finished a solo album and is apparently working on a new Find Me as well...
  17. Yeah, that was pretty good. Certainly a whole lot better than the last one...
  18. Yeah, that new one is quality.
  19. I love this album. So many great tracks.
  20. Am a big Hurricane fan. Bums me out that we won't get new material from them. Also bums me out that Foreigner won't play even one Hurricane song in concert. C'mon guys! I've seen Foreigner three times, once with each of their lead singers - Johnny Edwards in 1991, Lou in 1992 or 1993, Kelly in 2006. Kelly was the best of the bunch* - and he'd only been with the band for a few months. He was great. I met Tom Gimbel and Jason Bonham after the show (both dudes were *SUPER* nice). I told Tom that I thought Kelly was the best of the three and he kinda gave me a double take and says "Really? Man, that's great. I'll have to tell Kelly. He'll be really pleased to hear that." On another topic that will interest this board, I asked Jason about the demise of his band "Bonham" that I absolutely loved. He says to me "Drugs are a terrible thing, mate." * - Lou's studio albums are obviously the best, strictly referring to concert performance here. Lou still had his voice when we saw them, this was before his health issues.
  21. From the official Frontiers Music Facebook page: Frontiers Music Srl is thrilled to announce that a fourth album from the popular melodic rock group Find Me is in the works. Stockholm based producer and drummer Daniel Flores will once again helm the boards and collaborate with respected melodic rock singer Robbie LaBlanc. FIND ME is an ongoing collaboration between Swedish musician, songwriter, and producer Daniel Flores (Issa, The Murder of My Sweet) and singer Robbie LaBlanc (Blanc Faces, ex-Fury). The partnership was put together by Frontiers President, Serafino Perugino with a vision to unleash another AOR behemoth. The new record will once again be a delightful and massive melodic rock album, chock full of mighty anthemic AOR songs with Robbie’s soaring lead vocals and amazing performances from Daniel Flores and his band! Sonically, there will be hints of the classic Journey and Giant sounds as well as of newcomers like W.E.T and Eclipse. The fourth installment from Find Me will no doubt be another unmissable album for the Melodic Rock/AOR crowd from Frontiers. Get ready for the release in late 2021! Combined with a post from Erik Martensson that Eclipse is working on a new album, this has been a great week for music announcements in my world
  22. Those are good tracks. Will have to check these guys out more. Thanks!
  23. He's doing another East Temple Avenue album but I believe he's doing another Find Me as well. Find Me is his best stuff, IMHO, so hopefully we get another album soon.
