  10. Did not see any chatter regarding this "reunion" and subsequent live album from half the original members of Sweden's Shotgun Messiah. "Swedish hard rockers SHOTGUN will release their new live album “Live – Down Decadencia Drive” on May 6 through Livewire/Cargo Records. A rocking new half breed of the original SHOTGUN MESSIAH is now releasing an in your face live album with all the songs from Shotgun Messiah’s highly acclaimed first album. SM Is the result of this collaboration and a damn good live album that captures the nerve, the riffs, the attitude – and that straight-in-your-face-style that once was the trademark of SHOTGUN MESSIAH. “Live – Down Decadencia Drive” track listing: 1. Squeezin Teazin 2. I’m Your Love 3. Bop City 4. Nowhere Fast 5. Dirt Talk 6. Nervous 7. Shout It Out 8. Don’t Care Bout Nothin’ The album was mixed by Chris Laney at LaneyLand and mastered by Classe Persson at CRP Recordings. SHOTGUN are: ZINNY J. ZAN – Vocals STIXX – Drums ROB MARCELLO – Guitars CHRIS LANEY – Bass "SHOTGUN MESSIAH was the pioneers of the glam and sleaze era back in the 80’s and one of the first acts to come out of Sweden to relocate to the U.S. and actually hit the charts and make a name for themselves. With extensive tours, press, radio and TV covering the entire U.S. under the belt for some years, SHOTGUN MESSIAH was worn out in 1993 and decided to call it quits. Later in the 90’s you could find the former members in bands like MARILYN MANSON, TOM WAITS and ZAN CLAN. Over the years some of the members in former SHOTGUN MESSIAH has been made aware by their fans that they never got to play their songs live for their supporters inEurope, Latin America or Asia. Now 25 years after the release of their first album, two of the band’s biggest supporters contacted singer ZINNY J. ZAN and drummer STIXX in order for them to consider a reunion and actually get the opportunity to play these songs for one last tour. An opportunity for the supporters that once missed out to hear the songs live – but also for it to be captured and released as a live album. THE CATCH, YOU SAY? These two hardcore supporters wanted to see the original line-up reform. Since that was a definite no-go they gladly volunteered to fill the two missing slots. The two fanboys happened to be none other than… Rob Marcello and Chris Laney." www.facebook.com/bopcityshotgun www.shotgun-messiah.se Content from promoter Rock n Growl.
  11. Some epic Dweezil vids. Man this guy has always been a frickin great player. And this one with Donny Osmond on vocals and some other guitar heroes on the solo: 1) Dweezil Zappa 2) Zakk Wylde 3) Steve Lukather 4) Warren DeMartini 5) Nuno Bettencourt 6) Tim Pierce...
  12. Wanted to add this one, from their best record imho... not that they don't have a very solid discography but this one was supremely technical with tons of amazing guitar work.
  13. Just for fun.... $11.99 and silver pressed... http://www.demondollrecords.com/products/ask-alice-big-busted
  14. Haven't been able to tell/locate physicals only downloads. I messaged the band and hope to hear that they will have physical stuff's available...
  15. So I have had this disc for about a year now in an unfortunate stack of "new" music that I acquired. Long story long, two moves and a very full life later I upped this long play from Star Scream onto my iPhone and have been immersing myself in this very well done and incredibly cool record called Sexploitation. If you dig your tunes eclectic this is for you. Elsewhere folks compare them to Marilyn Manson meets Tim Burton, but its a broad stroke for comparison. To me they are more of harder edged Oingo Boingo or maybe Daniel Ash, if anyone recalls that Motorcycle cut off that Love And Rockets disc that's the ilke. Anyway, give them a spin I think they are quite good and should be appreciated. Jim I think this will be to your liking... https://www.facebook.com/starscreammusic https://www.starscream.co.uk/
  16. Ahh the tables have turned. Stefan can you get to their website as mentioned all their stuff is listenable there.
  17. Here's a few more. The entire album can be heard on their site and I agree as these guys are shit hot period!
  18. Quite nicely played modern hard rock band that appears to have been milling about for quite some time now. https://www.facebook.com/ScreamingForSilenceBand/ http://www.screamingforsilence.com/ https://youtu.be/Bn9MgEK77H8
  19. For fans of the epic female fronted metal, with some modern metal nods for sure and yet again a US band. https://www.facebook.com/ColdKingdomBand/ http://coldkingdom.com/
  20. Another stateside quite competent modernish rock band. Should appeal to some. https://www.facebook.com/vaudevillemn/ http://vaudevillemusic.com/
  21. Whoa! Simply killer and from Minnesota no less. If this doesn't tickle you nothing will. https://www.facebook.com/LampShadeBetty http://www.lampshadebetty.com/ Live acoustic version, epically brilliant! From there sight: "Lamp Shade Betty is a young and high-energy rock band hailing from the St. Paul area. Members of this new group include brothers Benny and Noah Schriener respectively on lead vocals and drums, the shred-prodigy Casey Weishaar ripping on lead guitar, and last but not least Trey Gust holding down the low end on bass. These four guys conspire to make up some of the best rock music on the market to date, which some would describe as a modernized version of 80's metal. Whatever you call it, this is a band you have to see to believe the true talent involved. Currently with 11 original songs that will soon be released on their debut, self-titled album, Lamp Shade Betty knows how to bring the party, and bring it big."
  22. Eee git that song is so not good and not a representative of the tatted up biker dudes with their naked brethren. Girls yes, band no.
