  3. I have that one but haven't got around to it. I'm watching the complete Twilight Zone Collection. It takes awhile to get through 28 DVDs. Man that would be a treat to sit and watch for hours on end... Just rented Balls Of Fury and I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry. Both were stupid, but that lawyer broad in Chuck and Larry is smokin'!!!! Should of did the whole movie of her walkin around in her undies. Would a been a lot more enjoyable.

  5. I just sent 2 CD's, in jewel cases, via first class air mail to Canada for $3.76... Recieved 2 cd's from same location w/o jewel cases, via 1st class air mail and the postage was $1.92... Almost forgot the same day I sent 2 cd's without cases, weighing approximately 4oz to Slovenia, first class air mail, for $3.60. BTW first class air mail is a 3-5 days delivery.

  12. I'm digging these demos. Thanks Terry. Could track 2 be called 'Face the Time'? That's what it sounds like he's saying. I always thought he was singing "Rock makes us high!" So I shortened it "Rock", but anything is possible. I am really glad everyone is enjoying them. Really enjoy the "demo" versions of "Cats Got Nine and Ring My Bell". Don't think I could pick a fave though. As I have always really enjoyed SD. My first CD. Looks like being a packrat and a serious scrounge has its benefits.
  13. Terry.....already had it professionally done. I'll send you a copy. Come to think of it....I probably should send Pete a copy too!! LOL Sounds great Jim! I am sure we can figure something up...
  14. Just listened to/transferred to CD Tacoma, Washington's own BRIGAND RAID!!!! Oh my what a great band! ( Check out my "review" over at www.metal-treasures.com ) ??? Who's going to send me that Shotgun Alli so I can put it on CD???
  15. Working on a fair amount of demo transfers myself... Last one burnt/listened to was Mistrust-Spin The World.
  16. The video for Switchblade Serenade that I have on vhs has a different version than on the cd. I don't think it is just a remix either. No I don't believe it is. The video "mix" of SBS is the same as the, let's say, 2nd version I have of the CD. Which has different, albiet, slight at times, versions of the entire album. Which brings us back to my original post. What is the meaning behind the 2 different releases and no neither of the releases I have are re-issues. Both are from 1990...
  17. Hey Everybody! This is Michael Hannon, glad to see someone is enjoying these, I am an idiot with a computer so I can't get em to work for me, but there was no song called "Rock",......many years and many beers have passed since this recording, so I can't remember what the correct song title is there. Anyway, hope you all enjoy them. If you're interested I have a new band (Ten Years Now!!) called American Dog, check us out at www.americandoug.us If you have an "Salty" questions feel free to e-mail me at our site, all the contact e-mails go directly to me. Cheers! Oops. Sorry Michael and everyone here. Took a stab at the song title from the chorus. Like I said in the PM I sent to Michael, when I recieved this tape almost 20 years ago it was just a tape with a title on it. No sleeve, no artwork, no tracklists...nothing but some killer tunes on a memorex from an unknown LA rock band. I hope you all still dig the tunes and maybe MH can shed a little more light on this piece of rock n roll history.
  18. I got them to play in Quicktime. Swweeaatt!!
  19. Glad to see people downloading and enjoying this. Would love to hear some feedback and could someone help Wes out...
  20. Aww man not this again. I don't know!! The Nero just does it like that... Delbert help!!!!!!!!!
  21. No sweat my man. Post up what you think.
  22. I have had this cassette tape of Salty Dog demos for about 20 years, I think I got it in the summer of '89. A gal I knew mailed it up from LA for me, said that I would love it and she was right! The quality is as you would expect from a demo tape that is 19 years old. There is some tape his, audio drops out for a couple of seconds at the beginning of song 2 and at the end of track 6 another song starts just as the track ends (damn roommates back in the day), but overall the quality is pretty damn good and you won't here/find these versions anywhere else. Get it while it's hot! Enjoy my friends! http://www.megaupload.com/?d=8GKD1O2C Salty Dog-Bone Me Down (The Demos) 1. Strong Medication 2. Rock 3. Ring My Bell 4. Cats Got Nine 5. Jump Start 6. I Drank Too Much
