  1. No bags required young man just run out and give them a spin. They are pretty epic at times and the pirate theme is pretty slick. I think you'll dig them!
  2. Cute little tif gentlemen... I am going to agree with you Jay. And the use of "hipster" was a lot better than what I would call the mindless masses that flock/herd themselves aimlessly to the nearest band wagon/trend and jump on it or the line to nowhere to stand in just because. MOO! Butch is a talented SOB, no doubt, but the last handful of releases have truly blown dog. Would I still consider myself a fan sure. Would I pick up the latest release(s)for a buck or 2 sure, would I rather he released more "Left Of Self Centered" styled material of course! It's kind of like Elton John or Paul McCartney. Sure these guys are amazing talents, but over the last decade can you name an album or tune they've released? Me neither and I know they keep churning stuff out...
  3. Yeah, my brother felt the same way, but I actually think the men would get more out of this than the women. It might be a little too crude for most women. Probably the best comedy of the year. I am kind of befuddled by everyone's, not particularly you's 2's, but everyone's glorious praises of this film? I watched this with my wife last week and she chuckled and guffawed throughout and found it entertaining. Where as I found it slightly amusing in very few spots and would sum it up as: "Sisterhood of the traveling pants with a dick joke and a shit joke." Otherwise an unwatchable sappy chick flick. On topic: Dead In 3 Days and Game 6. Both OK. Game six was set in 1986 around the Redsox' failure in the world series and starred everbodies buddy Mike Keaton. Dead in 3 Days was a "thriller" set in Germany (yes it has subtitles)about a miffed high school kid exacting revenge on his nemesis'. Oh, and saw the new Arthur as well. Which was not even in the same universe as Dudley Moore's version...
  4. Always did enjoy this band, can't imagine the style has changed much so this should be very nice indeed!
  5. Not to difficult at all, I did our Kenmore element about 8 years ago. If you are moderately mechanical and can get the schematics (either from your manual or online)it should be a snap and if I recall the part cost me like $15.00 and took me about an hour to do... Good luck.
  6. Off to catch Michael Monroe in a few hours, looks like he plays a good chunk of Hanoi tunes too! And for those who care 2 New American Shame alumni are on the bill as well. Kelli Wheeler's band Acid Angels and Jim Paulson is in The Jet City Fix.
  7. I thought your photo looked familiar (minus the curly long hair) Mr. "Its and illusion." Henning.
  8. That would be a flippin dream to see Saxon in a pup blowing the roof off, you magnificent bastard you!

  11. I still can't get over how horrible the artwork is... Now they don't have to go all McFarlane, but come on it just bad.
  12. Please explain to me WHY this film is being remade? Now before you all go IMDB on me I know the original was a big blockbuster, but come on its not like the other film is unattainable or even massively dated... Aaaarrrgggghhhh!
  13. Oh you know I own and I've seen it numerous times. The soundtrack alone makes this movie genious. Thanks to this movie I got referred to as the "ragman" for a good many years in and around high school. Guess I was a truuu metal head.
  14. Yeah, me too !! GOLD .... !!!! "With a thrill in my hand and a pill on my tongue..." Me three!

  16. Sweet! Many thanks for the heads up. I hear a bunch of Mechanical Resenance/The Great Radio Controversy era Tesla in this too and definately the HIgh N Dry Leppard sound as well.EXCELLENT! Reached out to guitarist Casey Jones and looks like the EP is download ONLY , but he mentioned they have a new physical disc to be released in just few months! Can't wait!
  17. At first glance I thought this was going to be our own Pete Fry's Shotgun Alli getting a cd release...
  18. The key word is "a". Just trade that with "all" or "most"... Dave, Do they ever throw down "Contrary Mary?" Or "The Kid"? I'd still love to see KIX live and to see them play the S/T and Cool Kids front to back would be AMAZINGLY AMAZING! LOVE those 2 discs, not that any of them are bad, but...
  19. As a fanboy I enjoyed this as much as the previous ones. Agreed and the cameo's were sweet!
  20. I still consider myself a rookie, so I usually just read and learn. I don't think I have a lot of knowledge to share. Music-wise. That statement could be used on any number of us, but it doesn't stop us either.
  21. Everyone is missed Matt, we just need to honorarily appoint someone to baby sit, I mean keep tabs on all of us... Sir Wotty are you in?
