  1. Be safe with Gummi Bears though!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But I'd eat the Gummi Bears and then the other bears would more than likely come after me with vengeance on their mind. Also, Gummi bears are hard to cuddle. They're very small and tasty.
  2. Polar Bears are white and fluffy. I would like to cuddle one. Other bears are brown and others are black. I'd also like to cuddle them. I think they all would eat me though.
  3. I like it when my genitals are touched by soft female hands.
  4. Yesterday arvo: Funeral for a Friend - 'Hours' ; awesome CD This morning: Funeral for a Friend - 'Casually dressed and deep in conversation' ; absolutely excellent disc. Love the songs on this one. One of the best in the genre. Thrice - both discs. Okay, but not the best band out there. The title track for the debut disc 'The artist in the ambulance' is awesome though...
  5. Quite a while ago Blue Charvel started up a brilliant thread about toilet seats, asking who had what. Well, at the time I only had a plastic normal one and with a huge degree of disappointment I couldn't participate because that was not an option. Well, on the weekend my girl bought one that is soft like a cushion with a picture of a flower on it. It's very comfy and I like it it. Why'd I post this here? Well, I looked for the original thread but couldn't find the damn thing. Was it in Exquisite Entropy? Couldn't find it, so I thought I'd add it to this thread. Seems at home here anyway...
  6. Fish enter my dreams sometimes. I smile at them and they swim away.
  7. Trapt - 'Someone in control' ; not quite as brilliant as my first thoughts, but still very strong album. just started... Funeral For a Friend - 'Hours' ; Love it!!!
  8. I'd also like to eat that. Mmmmmmmmm. Nachos appeal to me in any shape or form.
  9. There definitely isn't, Geoff! They get some unnecessary rap, according to me. The long explanation for why they're my favourite was just to counter your extremely short posts. Just playin', mate! Have always found your comments to be interesting to read, and i always check your reviews on the band pages before getting an album! Cheers! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> LOL... thanks mate, some kind words there. Appreciate it. My post are always extremely short, aren't they? I really have to work one that. ... I wonder why they always are so short? I don't want to give off the impression I don't have much to say. Maybe that's it... that I'm scared what people will think. I don't want to say too much, come off like some sort of wanker or something. There's some guys here who just talk shit all the time and I'd hate to be one of them. Imagine I was one of those guys who started making stupid threads with mindless questions, or someone who tried to squeeze in a comment on sex and it's worth on every single page of this site. That'd make me a real toss-burger, and that's just not the image I want for myself. So why do I write such small posts? I can't understand why, and who knows, I'll probably never know. I'm just destined to write small posts and that's life, what god intended for me and my fingers and all the readers here... an munchkins. Munchkins often are overlooked because of their short stature, but should not be overlooked. Some are quite sexual beings and have nice sex features, if you're that way inclined... or a fellow munchkin. Have you ever wondered if you're a munchkin? I haven't. I doubt my cat has either. Anyway, I'm sorry for my consistently short posts, mate, I'll try to work on it and put a bit of substance in future posts. Merry Christmas all!
  10. Yesterday afternoon: Story of the Year - 'Wake of determination' ; absolutely brilliant. Today: Cartel - not great, but decent Shinedown - 'Us and them' ; really not as good as I first thought. Sounds like a straight up hard rock band this time, which isn't a bad thing, but IMO not the greatest CD. Still pretty cool though. Stretch Arm Strong - 'Free at last' ; I like these guys. Sort of like Silverstien, but nowhere near as good, but still good anyway. I had my 100% melodic rock, best of 2005 week last week, now it's my 100% modern rock best of 2005 week.
  11. How sloppy, I was going to check in at Melodicrock.com on Saturday to see what the big announcement was, never got around to it. But this is awesome news. I'd be delighted to hear that Adriangale were going to keep on going, just with Ted at the vocal helm. That would be awesome itself, but I'm sure this will be killer stuff anyway. Can't wait to hear the results!!!
  12. Sorry... I forgot to add... by the way, I like to eat them. I also enjoy sex. I feel it necessary to contribute to this thread for the way Metal Jay has set the board alight with enthusiasm amongst posters, as we try desperately to top Freaky's thread. I know it's my number one aim in life at this point in time. ... Hmm, that was a short moment in time. But I'll still give it my best anyway, it's all I can do.
  13. All American Rejects - 'Move along' Houston Calls - 'Collection of short stories' (Song number 5 is absolutely stunning)
  14. I saw 'Coming to America' on Saturday night. Okay, but not really my thing I don't think...
  15. Just on the Bon Jovi thing too... they were the first band I ever heard in the genre and also were the single band that got me interested in all of the hard rock titles I have. If not for Bon Jovi I would not have the literal thousands of melodic hard rock / glam etc. CDs in my collection, so there sure as hell is nothing wrong with stating Bon Jovi as you're all time fave, Dr Feelgood. I think I took the easy way out picking a modern band (but they still are my fave anyway) as I'd hate to try and seperate Treat, Steelhouse Lane, Harem Scarem, Danger Danger, Fate, Casanova, Vain and the rest of my faves - would be impossible. As Tim (2) states, it's hard to pick over an entire career because a lot of my faves have one stunning CD along the way, but not all are brilliant. And then there's the likes of Zero, which is probably my all-time fave melodic hard rock CD, but there's only one! Same with Intuition and Stun Leer. With a discography behind them they'd be up the top for sure, because they already are!!! Impossible to choose when it comes to melodic rock.
  16. Hey mate, go to purevolume.com and type in Cauterize and I believe they have some samples there. It's not grunge or alternative and I wouldn't call it nu-metal, but I get so lost in the terminology of it all. It is modern music, with slight punk backgrounds (on 'So far from real'). The term nu-breed could be used to describe them. I prefer modern melodic hard rock or something like that. If you know SR-71, there are similarities there. FYI, Emerald Rain's Murray Diagle produced both discs. They are heavy, in your face and you must have a taste for modern stuff to enjoy them. Am not sure of your tastes, but if you enjoy anything modern, they're an essential band to check out, IMO.
  17. Hey guys, There's probably a million variations on this post on every site, in every kitchen and on every wombat's back, but I want to know - from every member if possible - who is your favourite band of all time... and the reasons why. I know it's hard to pick one (Trust me, I have about 20 that could fill the top spot and I hate to leave Treat, Danger Danger, Vain etc. from my post) but give it a go, with some cool reasons please. Thanks. I'll start it off with a band you'd never guess from me CAUTERIZE is my favourite band ever because, although I only got their debut, 'So far from real' in 2003, and with this year's 'Paper wings' they have only recorded 2 albums (also 2 brilliant albums as the band T.O.E. but this is just Cauterize I speak of) the quality of these 2 discs is compelling to me. I own CDs from bands which are completely filler free, but there is not one band that I have 2 consecutive releases from where not only do I love every song, but I think every song is an absolute materpeice. Every single song on 'So far from real' blows my mind, and the sincere, heartfelt delivery and lyrics, IMO, is second to none. I have just never heard a band so musically solid with lyrics to match, if not over-shadow. And 'Paper wings' merely continues from where 'So far from real' left off. Absolutely mind-blowing lyrics again, covering many more places than the debut... such deep, personal lyrics I just don't hear elsewhere. As I've stated before, he (Jesse) leaves nothing withheld and is as good a writer as I ever recall seeing. 'Porcelain' remains my song of the year, and about 6 songs ('Porcelain', 'Why this last dance', 'Closer', 'Tremble' etc.) are the best songs I ever recall hearing. Overall, of the 23 songs on the 2 discs, there would probably be about 15 in my top 20 of all time. ... And that's why Cauterize is my favourite band. Now, who's yours and why? Hopefully your answer's not as long as mine because that's really boring
  18. It'll never happen, cos see we LIKE you. Notice I didn't say the other 'L' word. No Geoff...the other 'L' word in this case isn't lesbian. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Phew! I must have been correct with my first thought thinking the 'L' word was 'Licking Breasts'. Or is it 'Love-pole riding'? Sorry guys, I'm sitting here making myself sore with laughter. Man I need help... Does your love extend ( ) to a fool like me, Jay? ? ? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sure, if you lose the smitten smiley. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> My apologies. Allow me to amend my proposal. *Please note my deep, husky voice, moustache, beard and can of beer in my hand. I also have an open-mouthed woman at my feet and a pet bull-terrier with a cat's torn off tail in it's mouth. I am sitting in the drivers seat of my V8 Holden Commadore (it's pretty crowded in here) and my hair is ruffled and unstyled. I just told my wife I like sex with other women too... and ended the conversation with, 'Just cope with it, will ya'.* Now, does you love extend to a fellow lover, like myself? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's a deal if you tell your wife I like sex with other women too. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Okay, I told her. She asked for your phone number and address for some reason? Damn women are confusing sometimes. Why would she want those kind of details?

  20. And he bows while being pelted with roses(with Thorns). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Damn. Them sting like a bitch...... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Them do indeed. I am pretty sure I have the nicest ass by the way. Won many a blue ribbon at 4H contests. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've been told my ass is plump, perky and nice to hold. Others have said it matches my face well. As my face is very handsome I take that as a compliment. I hope that's the way they mean it too...

  22. Airless - '2nd Round' and Gypsy Rose - s/t. I must say, both these discs are going to be in the top 5 of my big 'Best of 2005' list for melodic rock. I honestly didn't realise the Gypsy Rose one was so f*cking good!!!
  23. At lunch time... Jaded Heart 'Helluva time' and started this one for the way home this afternoon... Dogpound's 2nd album. Hotshot on the way to work this morning.
  24. Sounds like an interesting feature film... will have to check it out.
