  1. Yesterday: Safe Haven, The Ladder and Tradia. (all okay) 91 Suite - 'Times they change' (great stuff) Today: Place Vendome - s/t (great stuff!) Khymera - 'A new promise' (also great stuff!!!)
  2. I am also unsure of this. If it were a toad-in-the-hole I could explain that this is a frog-like creature stuck in a pit. But as for a tode, I can only glance to the sky in wonder as I have no answers.
  3. FYI, 24 is the number that follows 23.
  4. Terra Nova - 'Escape' (I really quite like this one) Bonrud (Good disc, at least the highlights are ) Still Running (Has it's moments) Stryper - 'Reborn' (Just starting again... sounds cool, a few fillers though.)
  5. Well like they say... today's Grunge is tomorrow's Yankee Candle Scent of the Month... How about "Pacific Flannel" or "Veryhairyberry"? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nahhhhhh..........I'm definitely more the 'floral' scent type. No fruits for me... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I like oranges.
  6. Based on that evidence, I'd say it was Colonel Mustard in the Library with the Candlestick. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I say it was Kevin Martin on the stage with the Candlebox. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I always thought it was Lieutenant Conemaker in the barnyard with his plastic lemon-scented pony.
  7. I once chose to wear clear clothing. My adoring fans unfortunately ruined the experiment for everyone concerned. A fondle, I do not mind. Pawing, clawing, groping and tearing I can also cope with. It is the jealous stares I cannot comprehend.
  8. "Why on earth are your feet in the water?" "Because I stand in the ocean." I was once a symbol to the gods, now I am a shell on a turtle's back.
  9. No worries mate... someone had to give 'em at least one vote. As I said in my first post, no offence to the band I love 'em too, but I just can't stand the debut.
  10. I was spinning Tramp's White Lion this morning and can't say it really worked out well for me. Mike sounds so uninspired singing such great songs. Just sounds like he's lost his 'mojo'. His bored delivery is what turns me off the solo albums and what has turned me off this decent live disc... ... and he avoids major hooks that made the songs what they were originally, which is just poor.
  11. 'There is an elephant in my breakfast cereal!' I exclaimed as it sat perched in my spoon. 'You best let him to the jungle, dear fellow,' offered Beatrice, my colleague and miss-guided lover.
  12. Hey guys, I just put in the more commercially successful bands of the 80's so those ones you listed weren't in there on purpose. One stupid exclusion which I did want to put in there was Cinderella 'Night songs'. Grrrr.
  13. Thanks mate, just keeping you up to date. I actually had KFC for lunch - a 3 piece feed with large chips. Really filled me up I gotta say, and I'd usually eat that as if it were an entree. Would be nice to have some sex to get rid of the "healthy glow" I now possess after consuming the food. Rabbits have ears.
  14. Fall Out Boy - 'Under a cork tree' (This one is pretty cool) Finch - 'What it is to burn' (Man these guys were good, what a shame about the 2nd disc)
  15. I'm about to eat some food for lunch, probably a kebab. I will also eat food for dinner tonight. I get tired also, usually before I go to sleep.
  16. I had a dream last night. I also own a cat. Sex.
  17. My American Heart - 'Meaning in make-up' Ra - 'Duality' Trust Co. - 'True parallels' Hawthorne Heights - 'Silence in black and white' Another bunch of great albums...
  18. I went with Poison. Here's my quick summary of my list in order: Poison - 'Look what the cat dragged in' ; awesome debut and IMO a defining moment in glam hard rock. Perfect stuff. Warrant - 'Dirty Rotten Filthy stinkin' rich' ; killer debut. Love it. Ratt - 'Out of the cellar' ; killer debut and arguably their best album. Bon Jovi - s/t ; great disc. Great debut. Motley Crue - 'Too fast for love' ; great debut that some argue is their best. Awesome. Dokken - 'Breaking the chains' ; love the band, hate this CD. As Chad says, brilliant catalogue but weak first disc. Def Leppard - 'On through the night' ; awful disc, awesome band. I hate this but love all their other discs.
  19. Okay guys, here are the debut albums from a few of the more popular 80's hard rock artists. Just wondering who released your favourite debut of the 80's... of these artists listed here?
  20. I remember when my girl and I first got together my mate made us come around to his place to watch the first 2 'Lord in a ring's in a row. This is because we'd (very foolishly) agreed to see the third at the cinema with he and his wife. My girl was asleep after 2 hours of the first film and I was internally begging for release. I can't remember if we saw both - the night is a blur, one which I've tried to erase from my mind. I know people like these films, but honestly...
  21. Yesterday afternoon: Anberlin - 'Never take friendship personal' Acceptance - 'Phantoms' Bullet for my Valentine - 'The Poison' Today: Bullet for my Valentine - 'Hand of blood' Silverstien - 'Discovering the waterfront' The Academy is... - s/t Love 'em all!!!
  22. What I mean by that is, if you're sexy and free-spirited enough (not wishing to mention any names that rhyme with Jeoff), the party will come to you!
  23. You gotta fight For your right To paaaaaaaaaaaaaarty. I personally don't really think you do, but someone once told me you do. I don't believe them though.
