  1. Another rant I had about Brigitte the Bitch for Germany. I forgot how much this person pissed me off.
  2. Just had to bump this up for Michael Butt, who just got taken not too long ago by this idiot. Join the club of those who hate this buyer.
  3. I'll admit I liked some tracks from the Darkness and was sad to see them go. For those interested here is a link to the Stone Gods the new creation from the members of The Darkness after Justin left the band. Stone Gods Without the high pitched vocals of Justin it's hard to compare the new band to the old. IMO, Stone Gods has promise, I'm anxious to hear some more.
  4. The worst part about the photo is the fact that her eyes are closed. It was the first thing I noticed.
  5. personally, i prefer the originals over the re-issues. Don't the re-issues usually have some BONUS material added on?
  6. Something about this one has fake written all over it. Can anyone confirm if it's true? Fake or is it just me?
  7. This isn't fair Maiden will absolutely win in a landslide. I voted for Iced Earth just because, I feel they deserve at least one vote for copying much of their great sound from the legend that is IRON MAIDEN!!! OK, so I ended up voting for my number 2 out of pity.
  8. I guess you asked the question before placing any bid, because if you asked after winning the item then you would have already bought from this buyer. A question that I hate is when a buyer asks for all the song titles of a totally unknown indie. I refuse to type out all the song titles knowing he/she has no clue who the band is.
  9. I'm not an expert, but this one looks like a fake. It looks like a strict black & white photocopy of the cover art. Visit My Website I don't why the link says visit my website.
  10. Well this past auction David Gibson bougt his own 1988 self titled cd from me. The funniest part is he lives on Lawrence Ave in Toronto and I bought the cd at a used pawn shop on the corner of Bathurst St. and LAWRENCE AVE.
  11. Harem Scarem for me. But the letter H is pretty damn impressive, lots of good bands. It's funny to see Helloween and Heart in the same category for a poll and both being at this time 1 & 2 in the rankings.
  12. I had to be different, the only covers album I own or should say "still" own is The Black Sweden - Gold. Yeah, the Abba covers one!!
  13. The nicest boots I've ever seen went up to the bottom of her a$$, dammit I miss going to the rippers. Those days are so far removed. I live in "stripperville" Canada and I've never been since I moved here 12 years ago. F**k I'm way off topic. Sorry back to the Rock-it records thing. Just pretend I'm not even here.
  14. Where the hell are PJ's auctions? He hasn't sold anything in quite awhile. Come on Koogs, he can't have his pecker in so deep that he can't afford to pull out and keep his stores up and running. What's going on, any news?
  15. Oh come on, not again Do a search, there has been plenty of topics discussing Rock-it and all other Italian and Spanish "import" labels. Maybe Dan should pin a topic on top with a list of all cheap-ass CDR knock off labels, so the community will know where to find the info easily. Without Sam to spew his venom upon those on the board, I think this thread will die off pretty soon.
  16. I picked mine up Saturday at Best Buy for 10.99$. I wasn't overly impressed at first, but after about 5 spins, I ralized it's damn good. This one has lots of hits for the local Canadian teen radio stations. 4 or 5 of the tracks are ballad types with huge choruses and amazing bridges that modern bands seem to deliver so well. My fav of the ballad tracks is "Old School". Of the rockers, I aggre with you Geoff "Dear Blank" is great. The only thing I'm not overly impressed with are the lyrics, too many girl left me or don't try to be my girl because I'm only gonna break your heart type of songs. The use of the expression ''Bullet to the Brain" and word "Bleed" are used a little too much for my taste. I'm searchin' here and I'm being really picky trying to find something I don't like. One thing I do love is the killer photos and details found in the inserts. Nice work with that one. First time in a long time I actually leafed through a cd booklet because it was cool looking.
  17. If I say a Timmy's will other members that are not from Canada understand? I always get mine with a triple shot of milk and double dose of sweetner. Hits the spot! Tim Horton coffee? It's a stretch of a guess but I used to travel up to Montreal a lot. Finding a Tim's in Montreal is actually a challenge, you should come here to Southern Ontario, where almost every main street corner has one. I swear they put an addictive chemical that makes you crave for it nightly! (A little quote from So I Married An Axe Murderer).
  18. Come on Delbert! They are The Poodles not The German Shepherds. Obvioulsy they won't pull your chain so hard.
  19. If I say a Timmy's will other members that are not from Canada understand? I always get mine with a triple shot of milk and double dose of sweetner. Hits the spot!
  20. Before I start to rip this fucker a new one, I should have known better after being on this board for years and being a seller myself. Late last month I ordered 4 cd's from this piece of crap seller. Here is summary of all the things that have gone wrong or don't seem right: 1) I only received 3 of the 4 cd's I purchased. (still haven't received the 4th one) 2) All 3 items I received were a defective cheap ass Mexican issues "Scarecrow Records" or something, not stated anywhere in the description. The cd tray came unglued almost instantly. 3) When I ask about getting a refund I got an e-mail stating I had to have paid insurance, which was not stated anywhere in the item description. 4) The shipping cost was over 18$ US and it cost less than 4$ to actually ship the 3 cd's I did received. 5) The store was in Canada according to the seller's location, however it is actually located in California, USA. 6) Seller said they sent the missing cd in another package on its own so not to get the attention of customs. WTF??? Liar!!! These too good to be true sellers are scammers, just like this Metalpins prick from another thread. If it ain't on NEH, The End Records or straight from the label I won't buy it. With the exception of some class sellers like Brett Harling or Ryan @ Metal Mayhem, I won't be buying anymore new shit on Ebay.
  21. Hey Koogs start up another thread about David not paying, it worked last time as he payed just a few minutes later.
  22. I still can't believe no thread has been made about this release. I just picked it up a few days ago and I think it's killer. The first half of the disc still has that "Power Metal" feel to it with the lyrics and its big choruses and the second half is much more melodic with even bigger choruses. I can't find a weak track on the disc. As much as I loved "Metal Will Stand Tall" I find this one more complete. I paid a hefty price of 22$, but it was worth it. Although I only buy a handful of releases every year, this will most likely be at the top or near the top of my best of 2007 list.
  23. Wait till Dave reads this! You'll have a metalpins hating buddy. He got screwed by them to. There is a thread about this idiot somewhere on these pages of bad sellers.
  24. I just checked the Ebay history of non paying bidder claims that I have sent in the past 18 months. I have made 72 (that seems like an awfully big amount, I never realized I had so many slow or non paying bidders) and of all of those, 38 were for bidders from Austria. More than half!!! Why is such a small country a big pain in the ass for me and my Ebay auctions?
  25. Well now he's been NARUed and his feedback has been removed, just great! Another Austrian bidder bites the dust.
