Well at least being out of work for two weeks means I can catch up on stuff I've missed recently. This was a nice surprise. Back in '97 my mate Kon obtained a copy of the Frozen Tears debut. An independent release from a South Melbourne band. His Brother was/is a friend of the band. It's been a long time between drinks, but they've released a new album. It's good stuff. Not too bad for a little indie band from Sth Melb.

I sent a text to my boss at the office and he replied by saying that they felt it too and ran out of the building. Bear in mind, I live about 40 kilometers away from the office. Reports from all over Melbourne apparently. THE END IS NIGH.

I heard from my boss last night that the Victorian construction industry is being shutdown for 2 weeks. The last few days have seen construction workers protesting mandatory vaccines on all building sites in Victoria. The industry union (CFMEU) has sided with the Government on this mandate and it has enraged members. As a result, our cunt of a Premier has turned around and said, okay, if you're gonna protest then fuck you, ill shut the industry down. I now miss out on 2 weeks wages because of a lockdown fueled by spite. Aussies are very easy going. We go with the flow. That's why we've tolerated being the most "lockdowned" country in the world, but we've all just about had it with these bullshit political power games by cunts that were voted in by the people, to serve the people, not to serve their own vindictive power plays. Enough is enough! and I'm sensing that everybody is feeling the same way down here.

Absolutely, I'm the same, but VOLUNTARILY. That's the point. It's not really about the vaccine at all TBH. It's more about what Governments have the right to force us to do. These vaccine mandates are testing the water for whatever else is down the track. They set a very dangerous precedent.

I think out of all the tragic "side effects" experienced with these lockdowns over the last 18 months or so, the cap on funerals is right up there. You can't get that shit back. It makes my aversion to the vaccine pale in significance TBH.

Love 'The Beatles", especially their early stuff. You should check out "The Beatles - Past Masters" albums, if you haven't already. This track is an early rarity, but one of my favourites. This song could be the Anthem for most of us.

STOP THE PRESS! Ive just heard that construction workers who live in Regional Victoria won't be allowed to travel to Melbourne for work. Well, I live in Regional Victoria and I travel to Melbourne for work. All this shit is still up in the air. No one really knows what's going on. It's a huge shit fight. I can tell you one thing though, I'll be fucked if I'm getting vaccinated only to be restricted from work anyway!

Well it's official. I have no Fucking Balls! It was announced yesterday that all workers in the construction industry must have at least one shot or be able to prove an appointment booking by next Thursday to be able to work on a building site. I booked my appointment for the end of the month last night. I had no choice. I'm absolutely fucking disgusted with our leaders. I'm absolutely fucking disgusted with society. Most of all, I'm absolutely fucking disgusted with myself. When it came to the crunch, instead of standing up for my rights and putting my money where my mouth is, I capitulated. I feel like a worthless bitch.

I think I've mentioned my distain for "Poison" several times, so I have to add "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" to this thread. Nothing anybody mentions in this thread will be worse than this atrocity. I even felt a bit nauseous typing the title.

I'm sure most here will remember "The Motels". Definitely "Female Fronted AOR" in my book. This track is pure 80s brilliance. Always loved it.
