  1. This one popped up in my recommendations today. I know Blue Man Group's stage show was hugely popular at the time, but I think today was the first time I'd actually seen any of it. I have to say, it's pretty awesome.
  2. On a similar theme to your post, has anyone ever accidentally damaged or destroyed a beloved CD? This wasn't an accident, but back in the day, my best friend and his wife (who I was also great friends with) had quite the tumultuous marriage shall we say. They're not together now, but back in '93 during an argument, my mates wife went over to his CD collection, randomly pulled out "XYZ - Hungry" and proceeded to snap the disc in half. He was devastated.
  3. Don Dokken - Up From the Ashes. I'd also add Lou Gramm's first two solo albums.
  4. When talking about Epic guitar solos, "W.A.S.P. - The Idol", is right up there for me.
  5. Here's a fairly obscure Aussie band called "Big Pig". Their 1988 album "Bonk" was very successful and had three fairly major singles. They were a bit too "arty" for me with a weird look., but the music was solid. Very much percussion based. "Breakaway" is a great track.
  6. This one's for Melusine... ...from an Aussie band that unfortunately never lived up to it's full potential.
  7. You're right. My apologies Sir. I don't know what I was thinking. I have to say though, that this comment by you, even in question form, is by far the most hurtful thing you've ever posted on this site.

    Corona

    I'm guessing they'd cost a fortune. Nanotechnology isn't cheap.
  9. ... in a dry county. Not as on point as yours from the same album, but I'll stand by it.
  10. They've actually released 6 Killer albums, but tragically, there won't be a 7th. https://musicfeeds.com.au/news/adrenaline-mob-members-banged-okay-following-bus-crash-killed-bassist/ The above story is also the reason why there hasn't been much output from Russell Allen recently. Their album "Coverta" is a covers album and contains this KILLER version of Heart's "Barracuda". I've posted this before, but I really fucking love this version.
  11. Once Summer gets into full swing down here we get to that most days and there's usually two or three periods of three or four consecutive days over 115 Fahrenheit (45 Celsius). It's pretty brutal.
  12. Adrenaline Mob are one of my favourites. There's not much Russell Allen does that I don't like.

    Titties

I appreciate this for the piss take that it is. Well played Doggy. I may have added a little "piss take" of my own.
  14. These guys and their Hard Rock alter Ego, "Devil's Train", are always good value. They are from "Hellas" after all.
  15. This is the only social media I indulge in and I think I was very lucky to come across this site. I've mentioned it many times before, but there wouldn't be too many forums as close-knit as this one. I wish every single one of you all the very best, and yes, that includes *"nyoilers". Fuck it, it's Christmas! *I jest of course, Brother.

You're starting to get into "Doggy" territory. Please, respect the thread. It's your thread FFS!
  17. A great 2 part track from George Lynch featuring "Mandy Lion" on vocals. BTW, the name "Mandy Lion" is a nice little "Shroud of Turin" reference before the "Shroud of Turin". Something "TPKOCATTOS" understand. Say cheese!
  18. Christmas eve, a few drinks under my belt and I'm starting to get sentimental. "Little Drummer Boy" was my Mothers favourite Christmas carol and as a result, mine too. This version features "Venetta Fields" who was famous at the time as being one of John Farnham's backing singers. My Mum actually bought this single when it was released in the early 90's. It was a one off project. I can't remember the name of the group.
  19. "Closer you get to the meaning, the sooner you know that your dreaming". "so it's on and on and on..., it's Heaven and Hell". Terry illous covering RJD and nailing it!
  20. I posted the title of this youtube video earlier this year. I can't post the video as it's age restricted. I know that's not much help to you Nolan, but maybe you could find an adult to help you access it.
  21. No, it's "Dusty's Revenge". The whole concept album is about a "Rockaholic" named "Dusty", featuring one of my favourite Vocalists heading up one of my favourite bands. This album for me is a win, win, win!!!
  22. Yeah, "The Models", "Boom Crash Opera", "Pseudo Echo" and many more. I could never get into KITK though. This is my favourite from "the Pseuds". A pure 80s time machine for me.
  23. I can't begin to tell you how thrilled He is when so called Christian artists give him recognition. He considers it a form of tribute. He fucking loves it! As He always says, "there's no such thing as bad publicity".
