You ever been hit it pads and a helmet?
I'm not doubting that would not be pleasant, especially when you don't see it coming.
I just question the hardness of a player fully decked out in that gear who delivers the cheap shots.

You ever been hit it pads and a helmet? there's a reason they could be so brutal, trust me those pads and helmet only make sure your chances of being killed or paralyzed are less likely, they are a huge incentive to be more reckless and unhinged then they would if they weren't wearing them, don't ever kid yourself. BTW those weren't cheap shots, it was perfectly legal when he played.
Hmmm... I not convinced of any of that.

I almost forgot this classic.
In what may be considered a very controversial move, I've posted Kelly Hansen's version instead of the iconic original.
I really love this version.

It's been happening for a while.
In the mid 50s, this was the Hard Rock of the day that had parents worried.

In my lifetime the NFL has gone from something I lived for 2nd only to MLB to a complete fag getto celebration of the low class low brow geto crew, or modern day hip hop, last time I went to a Bucs game which was in 2017, I was blown away by the fact it was still a mostly white affair, I wouldve never guessed that by the way they represent themselves, on top of the fact they show 40 fucking minute commercial blocks, have eliminated all the hard hitting, im sorry but these are big boys, they know what their getting into, if they want to Chuck Cecil somebody they should be able to, I know it would regain my interest, football is one step away from bra and panties with flags, fucking pathetic.
I had to look up Chuck Cecil.
There were a lot of cheap shots.
Cheap shots while wearing full padding and a helmet mind you.
Down here he would be known as a "grub".

Two of the best ever!

The title of the above track reminded me of this killer.

I'm not going to get stuck into someone for having the balls to do what many of us wish we could have done.
I agree 100%, but I would've had more respect for the guy if he had of said, "Okay Australia, if that's your policy, I won't be attending and you won't have the World's No.1 tennis player at your event".
It would have made our Government look even more fucking ridiculous than it already does.
I'm not justifying the circumstances, but I know people who have made the same stand and have had to make sacrifices. This guy wants to have his cake and eat it too.
When Ali made his stand against against Vietnam he said he thought it was morally wrong, stood up for his principles, refused to go and was banned from boxing as a result. He didn't try to wriggle out of it with a medical exemption.
As I said earlier, I think it's a bit rich to make a stand against something and then proceed to try and slip in through the back door with an exemption.
When it comes to the Australian Government or Djokovic, I don't have much respect for either parties TBH.

One I posted recently in another thread, but fuck it, it fits nicely here.

"Word Up" by Cameo is a Pop classic.
This Rock version by GUN slays it though IMO.

There's no shortage of good ones.

The problem is that they keep coming back....
Completely off topic, but are you guys aware of "Glen de Vries"?
He was on the same "Blue Origin" (Bezos) flight as William Shatner in October of last year.
In November of last year, he was killed in a plane crash!
Imagine being higher than most humans have ever been and then a month later, dying in a plane crash.

C'mon now mate.
How else are they gonna be able to take trips to space?

While the policy is overreaching and idiotic, one couldn't argue the inconsistency.
Yep, that pretty much sums up every covid policy our Government has brought about.

Got to treat everyone the same...whether the treatment is reasonable is open to debate....
Yeah, don't get me wrong, I applaud the fact that Djokovic has been able to avoid the vaccine.
He has the balls, courage and bank account to do what I was unable to do.
There are however consequences to your actions.
I know people who have quit their jobs over vaccine mandates and I admire that.
I do however think it's a bit rich to take a (justifiably) moral stand and then request an exemption.

Yeah it's hard to pick just one... Sticky Fingers, Beggars Banquet, Let it Bleed Black and Blue ... I guess "Hot Rocks" might be the real go-to album!
"Hot Rocks" I + II and "Jump Back" are a good start.

Per Boomer Esiason this morning, it's the Washington Admirals. I can see it now...
"The Wathington Admiralth! A jovial band of gloriouth theamen!"
If that is in fact the name, it's a missed opportunity, just trying to play safe. Washington Warthogs would have been awesome. As was tweeted out:
1. Good name aliteration.
2. Pays homage to the "Hogs" of Redskins yore.
3. A-10 Warthog is a bad-ass military plane.
4. Keeps the "W" on the helmet and/or alternate logos.
Back in the nineties I used to play a computer game called "A-10 Cuba".
I've always had a soft spot for the Warthog/Tankbuster since then.
It is indeed a beast.

For bowing to PC woke culture,
They should go with The Washington "bundles of sticks".

It's a big thing down here.
Letting him in with an exemption doesn't sit well when you think of the hundreds of people denied exemptions to see dying loved ones.
Last I heard, this is actually a visa issue. He's gonna get deported after spending the night in a police guarded room.

Here's an interesting one.
The 1969 Jose Feliciano track "Rain" is a great track, albiet with an awkward and shit bridge.
In 2007 the Israeli band "Metal scent" recorded this KILLER version on their debut and wisely left out the bridge.

Finally had a chance to check out what's upcoming (in the first half of the year at least).
In no particular order:
Tony Martin, Giant, The Ferrymen, Vassi/Katsionis, Ten, DeVicious, Reckless Love, Battle Beast, Dynazty, Star One, Lionville, Girish and the Chronicles, Lana Lane, Serious Black, Ronnie Atkins, Lonerider.

Keel had a good run with cover choices. I thought their Patti Smith cover was a smokin' rendition too.
Their version was okay, but i've never been a fan of that song.

A great track from a KILLER Aussie album from 2021 that I'm sure will feature in the best of lists.
