These guys and their Hard Rock alter Ego, "Devil's Train", are always good value.
They are from "Hellas" after all.

This is the only social media I indulge in and I think I was very lucky to come across this site.
I've mentioned it many times before, but there wouldn't be too many forums as close-knit as this one.
I wish every single one of you all the very best, and yes, that includes *"nyoilers".
Fuck it, it's Christmas!
*I jest of course, Brother.

A great 2 part track from George Lynch featuring "Mandy Lion" on vocals.
BTW, the name "Mandy Lion" is a nice little "Shroud of Turin" reference before the "Shroud of Turin".
Something "TPKOCATTOS" understand.
Say cheese!

Christmas eve, a few drinks under my belt and I'm starting to get sentimental.
"Little Drummer Boy" was my Mothers favourite Christmas carol and as a result, mine too.
This version features "Venetta Fields" who was famous at the time as being one of John Farnham's backing singers.
My Mum actually bought this single when it was released in the early 90's.
It was a one off project. I can't remember the name of the group.

Picture please.
I posted the title of this youtube video earlier this year.
I can't post the video as it's age restricted.
I know that's not much help to you Nolan, but maybe you could find an adult to help you access it.

Is that "Sex Ain't Love"? Haven't listened to the album in a while.
No, it's "Dusty's Revenge".
The whole concept album is about a "Rockaholic" named "Dusty", featuring one of my favourite Vocalists heading up one of my favourite bands.
This album for me is a win, win, win!!!

Love Wa Wa Nee and Kids in the Kitchen. We had some quality pop bands in the mid 80s.
Yeah, "The Models", "Boom Crash Opera", "Pseudo Echo" and many more.
I could never get into KITK though.
This is my favourite from "the Pseuds". A pure 80s time machine for me.

I can't begin to tell you how thrilled He is when so called Christian artists give him recognition.
He considers it a form of tribute.
He fucking loves it!
As He always says, "there's no such thing as bad publicity".

Yes and there are a couple threads here for those meetings, but I have met and toured the PNW with both Danny (animal) and James (Staryder) Gebbia, RIP buddy.
James came to see me twice and both times we spend 2 long days each trip hitting all the pawn, record, cd and thrift shops we could find and bought plenty.
Danny was working out west and we met up and did a southern tour similar to what James and I did, it was great time.
Unfortunately as Geoff mentioned times have change with the pandemic and nary a shop carries those great 25 cent cd's anymore...
Haven't faced to face yet but I do chat up Dave (LV Kix), Jacob and Mr Leykis from time to time outside of HH.
Last bit and this was probably 15 years ago but I started an idea to try and get as many HH'ers together for an annual meet n greet and it got a little traction but eventually fizzled. That would have been a hoot for sure. Charvel Pete was running with it pretty hard if I recall.
Very cool.

Here's another classic Aussie band you might not be aware of Cody.
"Wa Wa Nee".
I posted these tracks a while ago.
I know Stefan is a fan, so that gives you a good idea of the quality.
This is really good 80s Pop.

I was working near "Radical Records" a few years ago and was lucky enough to meet Doggy.
I haven't worked out there for a while, but when I do I'll pop in again mate.
Anybody else met a forum member?

Austlander and Dusty same on both you, what about Uncanny X Men or the Church ?
"The Church" are great. "Under the Milky Way" is Epic.
The "Uncanny X-Men" were a bit of a flash in the pan.
I do however, have great memories of...
"50 Years".
"Every Body Wants to Work".
"Party".

Another band you may like is "Something For Kate".
I recently posted a "Divinyls" cover by their Lead Vocalist, "Paul Dempsey".
It's good stuff, they're a really solid band.

A legendary Aussie band with many hits.
This track would come close to my favourite. Maybe tied with "All the Boys in Town".
I heard this cover by Paul Dempsey from another solid Aussie Pop/Rock band called "Something For Kate" on the radio last week.
I've mentioned it before, but imagine being able to stand up with an acoustic guitar and pull this out.

I reckon that's about right.
I'm assuming DGD means DED.

Figures, It seems like it's starting to be a thing, first it was Mental As Anything, then it was You Am I, right into Sunnyboys, and now the Go Betweens, maybe there's something to it, and Ive been on a Mad Max kick for some reason, instead of turning Japanese im turning Aussie I really think so
I almost forgot "Cold Chisel".
The most quintessential Aussie band of all Aussie bands.

When it comes to the true meaning of turning Japanese in reference to the song...
...I turn Japanese most nights, as we all do.

Mate, you are 100% an honorary Aussie.
If you haven't done so already, then check out "Mondo Rock", "Dragon", "Icehouse", "Australian Crawl", "Split Enz", Hoodoo Gurus" and "Noiseworks", to name a few.
