  1. Yeah, this one is a little gem.

I love Carsten Shulz. A definite hired gun with many projects under his belt, but I do find him to be hit and miss.

When he hits though, it's great.

    "Evidence One" comes to mind.

It's close, this isn't as good as those albums, but it's definitely one of his big hits.

You should check out "July Reign" Cody.

    Craig McLachlan & Check 1 - 2  Mona.

    Terrible.

Of course in those days, off the back of "Kylie", every TV soap celebrity was releasing a song.

"Neighbors" was particularly known for it and I'm sure Doggy, that this is one of your favorites.

It's amazing to think that the same guy is playing the same character in the same TV show after all these years.

I mean obviously all of David Hasselhoffs stuff :)

Actually Johnny Depp did some good stuff, but a lot easier to do with Alice Cooper singing...

Hasselhoff is a good one, but as with everyone (except the Germans) i've never taken him seriously.

I do like this recentish track though. Very tongue in cheek and ultra corny, but I definitely don't hate it.

This one came to mind immediately. I guess maybe only us Americans will remember Tina Yothers and her long standing role as Michael J Fox' little sister on TV's Family Ties.

This video is meh, but I couldn't fins an "official video" for her band Jaded, but there are plenty of song videos with stills of the band.

    Taking about "Family Ties".

I'll see your "Tina Yothers" and raise you a "Michael J. Fox"

    Absolutely remember Tina Yothers.

I remember as she got older they tried to make her look more glamorous, but she was never a hottie.

There was an episode of "Family Ties" that focused on Jennifer's singing that featured Christina Applegate as a member of her group.

    It's very cringe worthy.

Not too much more from Bravewords....

Swedish metal band, Secret Society, recently announced that guitarist/engineer/producer Andy LaRocque (King Diamond) is mixing and co-producing the band's new single, "Devil's Call", at Sweden's Sonic Train Studios.

Secret Society features Rick Altzi (Masterplan, Herman Frank), Morten Sandager (ex-Pretty Maids, Ronnie Atkins) and Paul Sabu (Alice Cooper, David Bowie). Stay tuned for updates.

Assuming you are on Facebook you can see their site....personally I can't see it and will never join up...

As with you, I'm not on Facebook and never will be.

I just use it for stalking purposes.

Thanks for the heads up on these guys anyway.

    I'll have to investigate.

  7. Here's 3.

The pick of the bunch is "Jimmy Nail - Ain't No Doubt" from '92.

A killer track from a very unlikely source.

Only the Brits will know the reference, but we used to get "Auf Wiedersehen, Pet" on TV down here.

To then see Jimmy Nail releasing this was mind blowing.

I almost forgot, when it comes to the first clip, one thing springs to mind.

    "I'M RICK JAMES BITCH!"

When it comes to the second clip, two things spring to mind.

  8. I think it may be a generational thing, whichever the way the pendulum swings.

In the past the new music of the "kids" was always more popular than the "Golden Oldies".

The worm seems to have turned.

I reckon in times to come, the "new" music now, will become the "old" music that's more popular than the "new" music of the time.

Rinse and repeat until the pendulum swings again.
