The "Eurythmics" got away with it in '84.

Just thinking about it. I don't know how many tracks they'll perform, maybe three? Nothing too obscure, just ones they're known for in the mainstream. It's not my favourite KISS track and I hope they don't, but I reckon they'll definitely do "God Gave Rock 'N' Roll To You II". I think "Rock and Roll All Nite" for sure also. I'd love to hear "I Was Made For Lovin' You"... ...unfortunately, I don't think we're gonna hear "Hide Your Heart".

I'm just wondering what they'll sing.

You should check your post in "The Song Game" thread last Thursday mate. Glass houses and all that.
-
It's good, but it's just not my "Bonfire".

I've never heard of this guy before, but I just listened to "I Don't Believe You" on the Iridium channel. One of the handful of tracks he released this year. Apparently he released an album in 2015 (We Never Learn), but I can't find much info about it. What he's released this year so far is great stuff. Well worth keeping an eye on.

Ha! I made the complete opposite joke a couple of weeks ago to my mate who supports Carlton just before their win over Melbourne. I said Michael Voss should stick to Casanova and Demon Drive. It backfired on me, of course.

Yep, that's it.

I had this track on a compilation cassette back in the day along with Hurricane's "Next to You". I can't remember the name of the compilation. It wasn't until the good old internet that I was able to hear the rest of the album and see the clip you posted.

One of the best.

Another one from "Platinum" amongst the tracks posted today. This really is a great channel. -
Yeah, there's several tracks from those two Steelhouse Lane albums written by him that have been recorded previously by other artists.
-
Great track. It always reminds me of this one for some reason.

SWEET ROXX - Lyin' Eyes (1988). One of the tracks just posted on this channel today. Anyone ever heard of these guys? A Killer example of the unsung talent that fell through the cracks back in the day. -
Considering "Sweet" was one of their early influences, I'd say there's no doubt about this one.

Along the same lines as Captain Howdy's Heavy Metal 80's rarities thread, this is a great YouTube channel that I'm subscribed to. It's all very obscure 80's demos covering all the genres we love. I don't know where this guy gets it all. He posts quite regularly as well. There's some very rare gems included in this playlist. I'm sure there are many here who'll love exploring it. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLTKjnZykLdjndwgVp-ebWBCytVkWthMcb&si=2FnOT1gWEA1fir_H -
More heartbreak for the Sainters Doggy. Maybe next year, but I doubt it. I think it's time for you to give up on St. Kilda and start supporting the Pies. You know you want to.

"Wig Wam Bam" A recent reaction video just posted this "Sweet" track that I'm not particularly familiar with. A quick check on Wikipedia confirmed that "KISS" and "Sweet" were the two major influences for the band "Wig Wam", hence their name. I'm sure many here already know this, but I never made the connection until now. The below clip says it all when it comes to the influence they had on "Wig Wam".

KISS confirmed for the Grand Final entertainment.

High praise. I'm excited.

My first reaction was that it's a shame we don't see her face, then I realised that we don't need to.

For some reason the NFL Quarterback, Jimmy Garoppolo is popping up on YouTube quite regularly at the moment. Apparently he's known as "Jimmy G". It reminds me of this Legendary track from a Legendary album by a Legendary Aussie band. It doesn't get better than this ballad wise.
