  1. Easiest one ever. There is only one correct answer. Bad City. Everything else comes after a massive gap and isn't worth mentioning.
  2. Saw this morning that a band had released a cassette. Pretty sure it was Maiden. Didn't pay too much attention other than think it was weird to release a cassette
  3. Last Vegas, then Papa Roach Chickenfoot always have a couple of amazing track, but the rest of the album is pretty average IMO.
  4. I was always pretty closed minded to unreleased songs. There were always a few - Maiden's Rainbows Gold and Reach Out for example. Or Europe's On BRoken Wings, Bon Jovi's Edge Of A Broken Heart - by generally, if they didn't make the cut in the first place, they were pretty average songs. Then Mike Tramp released Songs I Left Behind, and that was an amazing collection of stuff that should never have been skipped, so now I'm more open to unrelesed stuff, but still a bit wary I guess.
  5. I'm OK with half covers. Half 'reimagining' their old songs would be an issue though...
  6. Would have thought Kiss. If you compare % compilations to originals, maybe Tuff? Bret Michaels?
  7. They don't, but if you search "how to pronounce Gotthard" you get go·taad They also have a spoken example.
  8. I've always pronounced a blend of gotard and gothard Kind of like my attempt at a scandanavian accent I'll check google and see if they have a description of how to say it.
  9. Tesla was one of their best. Runner up Wig Wam Honorable mention Veelvet Revolver
  10. The Poor had a couple of great songs and a couple of good ones. Otherwise pretty boring. After hearing this track, and if this is the best they think they have to offer now, I'll probably just pass.
  11. re D2 different singers, a while ago I figured it out. Laine sings the songs better and generally has a more likeable voice. Poley is the voice of D2, so has the romance and sound you expect. Still, I've never been able to choose one over the other, but it's good to know why I can't
  12. lol, from those, Bret Michaels. Whilst that album is better than you'd think, it certainly has not role as the best album of the year. just better than anything else there.
  13. D2 clear winner for me Then Beautiful Creatures and Eclipse
  14. BJ Gun VH (how did this end up being 3rd for me?) Slash Firehouse
  15. Just from the pic is hard enough. And this year is one of the hardest. Lots of killer stuff. Kiss - what an amazing crescendo to a comeback album that really brought them back to the top. Closely followed by... Bon Jovi Slaughter Def Lep Extreme WASP
  16. I'm gonna go with Geoff and his deeply buried truth about Poison Native Tongue. It has my all time fav song on it (Until You Suffer Some). Not sure why, to me it's just one of the all time well written songs with all the elements, bridge, hooks, melody, vibe. Others worth a mention are Mr Big, EZN, Meat Loaf, Def Lep
  17. TS Under the Blade very closely followed by Maiden As soon as I saw the list I expected a bunch for..> Kiss - never got the attraction to this album, one of their worst for me Aldo Nova - never was able to get into this but people froth it. Van Halen - likewise was never able to get most of the earlier stuff. For me DLR on 1984 was great, before that pretty average music overall. (damn should have posted these in the unpopular opinions thread...)
  18. Love Discconnected, but this first one was average for me, maybe because i heard it 20+ years after it's release Only option from this bunch is Harem Scarem fo rme, and it is one of their average releases.
  19. Not much love here for Gotthard G I only got 4 keepers from it and two of those were covers. For me it's Def Lep Slang (I love this album) and Nelson.
  20. Probably Kiss Or maybe Dare. Slim pickings this year. Nothing really that stunning in the image
  21. Was going to have to settle on Motley until I saw M3, which is the clear winner.
