Pretty much. Can't change it, so accept it and move on. Big deal, we have to wait 2 days to see a baby. So long as it's healthy, not the end of the world. But it's wrong by society, and shouldn't be. I was merely pointing out a shitty side effect of covid and now you think I'm like you? ok..... Who do you think my 'master' is? you're a weird fucking unit.
  2. Yeah, need to cross more than fingers. Personally I'd prefer just the headliner and an opener, and the headliner plays for longer than 60 to 70 minutes. I mean they come all the way out here and play for a limited set. Like John Corabi who did the Motley 96 album in full. He did the album, and then a couple of other songs and was out. Before he want on I think there were 3 support bands. Luckily it was near the beach so we left and came back mid way through set #3
  3. Looking at Skid Row on 12 Dec here I dig the new album, and haven't ever seen them live.

All the shitty covid stuff seems to have left a lasting mark on us here in some places. My daughter is having her first baby in Jan and she is only allowed one person per day to visit. So that will be her partner (as it should be) No other family can visit, masked or not, so we will have to wait until she comes home to see the baby. Doesn't really fuss me, newborns are just blobs for the first couple of weeks, but my wife isn't overly impressed. In other news, recently Australia's richest woman Gina, Reinhart, withdrew her 15 million sponsorship of our national netball team, because an indiginous player (who hadn't even played for the team yet) didn't like the recist comments made by Gina's father 40 years ago and kicked up a shit and the team suppoorter her and asked to not wear the sponsors logo. So she said 'fuck it' and took back the 15M Then tyoday, we found out that our state government is sponsoring the netball team. Tax payers now sponsoring sport. Yay. I guess as a taxpayer (and sponsor) I get into the games free

Ok thanks. Very basic logic illustrates that the flu season worldwide is going to be more severe. Social distancing, masks, etc all played a part in reducing flu cases during covid. Here the flu pretty much disappeared for 2 years. Some of my family got the flu a few months ago and felt pretty shit. I had got the flu jab so didn't get it. But effectively we go back to flu seasons now where there will be normal flus and bad flus. I know nothing about RSV. Surprised the media beat up hasn't made it over here yet though.

Cool, Geoff, I'm moving on from you for now. 'lil Geoff is beckoning. I'm not butt hurt at all, just find it kinda funny that you're all 'play nice, move on' and then suddenly decide to come out and wave the CTS is a dick flag. I'm sure I could go back and find stupid posts from you and have a bit of fun, but I guess you just don't mean that much to me yet. With Geoff it was funny because he is so set in his "covid is nothing, it was always nothing, and everyone over reacted and I've been saying this since day 1" stance that finding his comments that were so hypocritical was fun. He even thought I had edited them, they were so different to what he thinks now. Annnnnyway, back to australialander Seems like you're hankering bit of douchey keyboard warrior treatment? Happy tyo give you an out. I can just walk away and just acknowledge that you have reached puberty, your balls have dropped, and you're ready to stand up for your 'lil old feelings. Equally as happy to be a douche, and have you react to be just as douchey. Let me know
  9. Two killer tracks, 2 great tracks and 2 or 3 good tracks. That's enough for me, but considering they listed primarily hard rock charts, I'd expect them to be topping most.

Ooooh, someone's been taking Geoff's angry pills. Do you hate Australia like him as well? How long have you thought of Glen as a moron? Is this a recent thing, or are you just coming out of your shell and releasing pent up anger? Are you going to start ripping in to him all the time, or was this a one off?
  11. Looks like thge ball dropping was short lived. If you've got something to say, just say it. No need to run around 'can't we all play nice' and then release your little bit of pentr up agression weeks later.
  12. Agree. But it does sound like more like Jackyl, which is a good thing
  13. If you think it's ok for Great White, EZN, Quiet Riot, Skid Row, Kiss, etc etc etc etc etc etc etc to go on without key members, but not ok for VH to do so, then that's kinda hypocritical. They have the right to go on if they want to in any form. If you don't like you don't have to listen. I stopped with QR, Skid Row and others, I may not bother with a Van Halen-less Van Halen. regardless, dount it will happen.
  14. They had one catchyy song. Be careful watching the posted clip if you have epilepsy
  15. Fuck, no that wasn't them, but their album Love Buzz Harmony is the best bubblgum pop rockl aropund. Kinda like some Bai Bang or EZN are the best I can associate it with. For the roller skates I was thinking of was Funhouse. They were an average band, but had one killer song, below. A friend of mine in the States was from where they were from, and had seen them live and told me the singer at some point in the show puts a set opf roller skates on, while singing on stage.
  16. Yep. Love that album. From memory they performed on roller skates or something lol

  18. Just saw it's been 33 years since Poison toured Australia. That's kinda shit for a band of that popularity. I guess they are coming on the motley tour. Not even sure if that is happening here. Can't do motley again and saw def lep a few years ago so won't be making the journey for poison, who, by many accounts, are the stars of the show

Firstly, you can't compare the UK to Australia, simply because of just how much Australia sucks Nothing can compare to just how shit a country it is. Love the argument "covid didn'ty kill anyonme, they were all deaths caused by underlying issues" This would be the same are cancer patients dying of heart attacked. It wasn't the heart attack that got them , it was because of the cancer. Or a bind kid walking off a cliff. Wasn't the splatter at the bottom the killed him, it was their blindness tyhat was the cause of death. Or maybe someone who dies ion a car crach, who happened to be sufferening a cold. Clearly the main cause was the sniffles
  20. Interesting match up for obvious reasons. Both great singers. Pity they chose such a shit song.
  21. Excerpting that Ken Tamplin is an absolute douche and most of what he says is self serving. Sammy must be very ashamed...
  22. New Skid Row also touring in November
  23. Some time in the 80's... Rachel Bolan: I wanna differnt look Person: Yeah you need to stand out, hey? Rachel: Yeah, what do ya think of a nose to earring chain? Person: *finishes line of cocaine* yeah, that would be rad, man Rachel: OK, I'll do it! 2022... Someone else: Dude, that chain is a bit old now isn't it? Rachel: Nah, it's my trade mark. I think it still looks way cool
  24. The problem SR had when Bach left was that they had run out of good songs. In fact you could argue that they ran out of songs after STTG. Look at VH, they moved on with a new singer. Songs were great, they got better. ACDC did the same Iron Maiden etc If the songs are there they will do well. Of course promotion etc comes into the mix, for all I know SR have had some great songs that I've missed, but if they were really good, they would have created a buzz and I would have bothered. These are really good songs, I expect the album to do well.
