Reminds me a lot of Jorn's Dracula album, which is a very good thing.

Parents took to to Elton John for my first ever show. I was probably also around 12. Lasting memory wwas my motehr and her girlfriend constantly talking about the guitar players dick. Aside from that, it was a great show, Still Crocodile Rock every so often.

Sammy recently said that he contacted Alex again to pass on some bad news that Michale Anthony got. He didn't respond, and didn't contact MA either. He can pick up a phone, but has something pretty big stuck up his ass. Which is sad for MA at least, who has very rarely commented on any of the VH sagas at least poublically and was exited from the band. If he wrote a book it would be a good read, as it would be somewhat neutral, although you'd suspect slightly in favour of Sammy given they are still close and playing together.

Also did a few nice tracks with Luke Morley around that time as well.

Yeah, what I was illuding to. For someone who doesn't want to talk about his old man, he sure talks about him a lot. But by far the biggest dick is Alex VH who won't come to the EVH tribute party. Eddie deserves that, but Alex is kind of a recluse now. Porbaly busy hanging out with Vito Bratta.

Last EZN album I got was Dissonance which gave me 5 keepers, which is ok. Last Donnie Vie I got was Beautiful Things, which not only gave me 9 keepers, but all of them probably better than EZN But I'll give the new one a go, happy to hear it without comparing to old stuff.

It's a good song. What I hear is a song about everyone talking about his dad all the time and how he deals with it. May be completely wrong, it may be about some girl or something.

Not into C&W, but I am happy to like what is good. Many just hate it full stop, but I am always open to it. This song is #1 on itunes so I gave it a listen. Not a bad song, but the message is great, we really need more of it to start to fix society.

Yeah, I've had a pretty disjointed year and haven't been able to listen properly to all the albums I'd like to. My list of 2022 releases to give a good go is rather extensive, but if I have to pick my top 10 from what I've heard this would definately be in the top 5. I know a lot of people like Chickenfoot, but for me there were only ever one or two great songs on those albums. This gets back more to the post VH stuff which is a nice surprise.

Yeah, read a whole bunch of my past posts. I hate Daniel Andrews, before covid, during, and after. Hell, was only a couple of days ago I was ripping him (on this board) for allowing the Vic govt to sponsoer the netball team. But as usual you just selectively read what you like, or more likely just blatantly lie to make me look bad. Dude, I can make myself look bad without needing you. Andrews will be re-elected, because people are happy to accept what he did during covid, before covid and after covid. But it's not all about covid. Did you know that Victorias debt is more than NSW, Qld and Tas combined? He is completely fucking our state. All started when he won government and reneged on the East West freeway lionk, and forfeited 2B dolloars. Yes, 2 BILLION for bailing on the contract. Motherfucker. And since then all he has done is ruin our state. So I willl vote against him obviously. But people suck and he will get back in, and it will be everyones collectiove faulty. Unlike you, I will move onand live a happy life.

Yeah, need to cross more than fingers. Personally I'd prefer just the headliner and an opener, and the headliner plays for longer than 60 to 70 minutes. I mean they come all the way out here and play for a limited set. Like John Corabi who did the Motley 96 album in full. He did the album, and then a couple of other songs and was out. Before he want on I think there were 3 support bands. Luckily it was near the beach so we left and came back mid way through set #3

Looking at Skid Row on 12 Dec here I dig the new album, and haven't ever seen them live.

All the shitty covid stuff seems to have left a lasting mark on us here in some places. My daughter is having her first baby in Jan and she is only allowed one person per day to visit. So that will be her partner (as it should be) No other family can visit, masked or not, so we will have to wait until she comes home to see the baby. Doesn't really fuss me, newborns are just blobs for the first couple of weeks, but my wife isn't overly impressed. In other news, recently Australia's richest woman Gina, Reinhart, withdrew her 15 million sponsorship of our national netball team, because an indiginous player (who hadn't even played for the team yet) didn't like the recist comments made by Gina's father 40 years ago and kicked up a shit and the team suppoorter her and asked to not wear the sponsors logo. So she said 'fuck it' and took back the 15M Then tyoday, we found out that our state government is sponsoring the netball team. Tax payers now sponsoring sport. Yay. I guess as a taxpayer (and sponsor) I get into the games free

Ok thanks. Very basic logic illustrates that the flu season worldwide is going to be more severe. Social distancing, masks, etc all played a part in reducing flu cases during covid. Here the flu pretty much disappeared for 2 years. Some of my family got the flu a few months ago and felt pretty shit. I had got the flu jab so didn't get it. But effectively we go back to flu seasons now where there will be normal flus and bad flus. I know nothing about RSV. Surprised the media beat up hasn't made it over here yet though.

Was is this you speak of? Haven't watched the news for years now, so if it ain't in my Facebook feed I don't know about it.
