Fuck, no that wasn't them, but their album Love Buzz Harmony is the best bubblgum pop rockl aropund. Kinda like some Bai Bang or EZN are the best I can associate it with. For the roller skates I was thinking of was Funhouse. They were an average band, but had one killer song, below. A friend of mine in the States was from where they were from, and had seen them live and told me the singer at some point in the show puts a set opf roller skates on, while singing on stage.

Just saw it's been 33 years since Poison toured Australia. That's kinda shit for a band of that popularity. I guess they are coming on the motley tour. Not even sure if that is happening here. Can't do motley again and saw def lep a few years ago so won't be making the journey for poison, who, by many accounts, are the stars of the show

The problem SR had when Bach left was that they had run out of good songs. In fact you could argue that they ran out of songs after STTG. Look at VH, they moved on with a new singer. Songs were great, they got better. ACDC did the same Iron Maiden etc If the songs are there they will do well. Of course promotion etc comes into the mix, for all I know SR have had some great songs that I've missed, but if they were really good, they would have created a buzz and I would have bothered. These are really good songs, I expect the album to do well.

Just heard album on YouTube. Tear It Down is the stand out. Tomb Bomb and October's Song also sound great. Impressive after 1 listen. For me it would slot nicely between ST and STTG. Eric does a nice Bach. Generally I don't look for new singers to sound like old ones, but he pulls this off well. Should make all the Bach lovers happy.

Full price for just HEAT wasnt on at whatever tix were. Thought about hitting the door but ended up not. Wig Wam I am more likely to be up for no matter what. Again will wait until just before the show for tix.

More recent Sammy stuff has generally underwhelmed. Pre VH, VH and immediately post VH stuff was all awesome. Chickenfoot, and some Circle stuff has been very average with only a few stand-outs. So I go into this expecting little. Hopefully will be surprised.
