  1. I love Lukather. Toto is one of my all-time favs. This album has a few good tracks, but it is NOT Toto. I don't care who the players are. Disappointed.
  2. Love his father. Actually enjoyed a rather long interview with junior on youtube. But this. This song. This video. It's CNN. It's Bud Light. It's rubbish.
  3. Pre Order link: https://usa-store.mascotlabelgroup.com/?syclid=7c02669f-45c9-4725-b9a7-fac886bce6ca
  4. You're being kind. FM got it right with Indiscreet 30... this is not that release.
  5. **** me. This sucks. That debut Fortune album is so great. R.I.P. Larry.
  6. Anyone? I can't get answers anywhere. Maybe my email is broken?
  7. Has anyone received their pre-order for this one yet? Really looking forward to this one.
  8. I like this one. It's on my BUY list.
  9. This one is fabulous. Perfect West Coast style AOR. Like a trip back in time to California circa 1977.
  10. I bought this one. Listened to it once. It's fine, but I doubt I'll reach for it again. The latest State Cows CD, however... I can't quit playing that one. Had someone told me in 1987 that 35 years later I'd pretty much abandon hair metal for 70's West Coast AOR I'd have told them they were flat-out loco... yet here we are :)
  11. Anything ever materialize for a proper release of INDISCREET II?
  12. Received my 2-CD set the other day and it does NOT disappoint. Imagine Ted Poley coming to your house and singing alternate tracks written for Karate Kid, Cobra, White Water Summer, Top Gun, Iron Eagle and Back To The Future (that's actually a huge compliment). Very fun bunch of tracks and VERY 1980's sounding. This will NOT be confused with anything post 1989. Music to my ears!
  13. Oh gosh this one hits home for me. I've been an Autograph fan dating back to 1984. I was lucky enough to see them open for Motley Crue in Portland, Oregon back in 1985 and they were awesome. Very sad. RIP RR.
  14. Wow, did Phil pick-up something other than a Jackson here? Sounds like it's tuned down two full steps as well. And to be honest, if I didn't know this was Def Leppard, I'd not have guessed that was Joe if I'd only heard the first 15 seconds of vocals. I don't hate it, but it's not the Pyro / Hysteria guitar sound I'm used to. I'd rather have more 70's glam style from them at this point. First track beats this one hands-down for me.
  15. Just checking-in to see if orders have shipped? Looking forward to this one. Thanks for letting me know.
  16. He lives in a little town called 1987. I've been there. It's awesome.
  17. Exactly right, and here's the thing.. Those who weren't around / listening to music in 1983 and 1987 wouldn't necessarily understand the natural progression. Four years may not seem like a long period of time in 2018 - 2022, but 1987 was light years away from 1983 in almost all aspects of life back then (music included). Even 1985 was vastly different than 1983. Motley Crue Shout vs. Theater is a pretty good example of this. Music, fashion, etc. Just different. Life was speeding by and changing daily for those of us who were teenagers back then.
  18. I actually like this first track, by the way. But then again, I am a T-Rex fan, too.
  19. I love Def Leppard. I loved Steve Clark. I really like Vivian Campbell. The above quoted comment is probably closest to the truth in the Viv / DL debate. Let's face it, Vivian was playing Holy Diver the same time Steve and Phil were playing Rock of Ages. I doubt Joe (and especially Phil) ask Vivian for anything more than to ensure his guitar is in-tune for the rhythm parts of any new Leppard songs. And as much as I like Phil, he's more of a special effects noodler now than anything. I mean he loves that trem bar nearly as much as Brad Gillis, and the Jackson sustainer should should really be called "The Collen." I actually dig his sound a lot (I always have), but Randy Rhoades he is not.
  20. Name of the Rose is such a great album... at least we have that.
  21. I'm honestly not going out of my way to be a killjoy, but this first track is just not good. Certainly not by Journey standards... and if the word ESCAPE is being used, this one wouldn't have made it passed the first day of rehearsals in 1981.
  22. There's only like 10 albums in the history of music as good as Escape.
