It really does sound like Midnite City. I think I heard in an interview that Rob Wylde originally sang all these songs but they changed gears after Midnite City was formed and went looking for a new vocalist. Still very much a Midnite City vibe though with the production and riffs but the vocals give it just enough of a different vibe to give it a unique feel. Excellent throwback melodic rock album.

I think I saw Andrew post somewhere that he was shooting for sometime in October.

I think my top 5 at the moment are: 1. Shiraz Lane 2. Maverick 3. W.e.t 4. Kissin' Dynamite 5. Station/Nitrate I could see Kissin' Dynamite possibly moving up a notch with a few more listens as I'm loving that disc and it's been a grower. I'm expecting Nordic Union and Midnite city could both push my top 5 by years end though.

Have to agree....Absolutely killer album! I've been through it a handful of times now and I swear the more I listen, the more I like it. I don't know if it'll be my top album but it's definitely right there among my favorites this year. Have picked up their last album too and will be checking that out closer once I can get the new one out of my CD player Not sure how these guys slipped under my radar. Good stuff.

Agree...expecting very little after hearing how poor their lost tracks and were...but loved their debut so will definitely give this a look.

Andrew sent out the album to those that pre-ordered and have to say after a couple listens I'm absolutely digging this. I'd say this essentially follows the same formula as the Midnite City album from last year in terms of being just a fun 80's throw back album. I'd think that anybody who liked that album might like this also as it has a very similar vibe. Good stuff

Degreed-lite is a good analogy....maybe even Degreed Super-lite. Songs I've heard have been okay but not really doing much for me.

Nice! Never got the debut so will pick that up for sure. Might grab the other two also for the bonus stuff.

Digging this also. Seems a bit more melodic than some of their earlier albums from what I've sampled. Like the direction they're going.

Listening to this album on you tube has convinced me to buy it. Never really paid much attention to these guys but like what I hear...melodic rock with a nice edge. I'll have to investigate some of their earlier albums. Really like the first few tunes...the ballad is great too. Dips a tiny bit in the middle but Waging War is great and like a couple other songs toward the end. Think I'll buy the Japan version though to avoid the digipak.

That's a good tune. I've never really been on to these guys but think I need to check them out closer.

Nice...never got this and wasn't going to pay crazy prices for it. Will be picking this up for sure.

Liking that tune a lot.....Digging the heavier, up tempo vibe. This one is definitely a summertime, windows down type of song Pre-order in....looking forward to this album in a couple weeks.

First I've checked this out....Bring The Light isn't too bad. Will have to keep an eye on this.

Great album and one that I've been thinking about picking up for awhile as I never got the CD.....Still have the cassette though Have seen this re-issue is going to be a digipak though and no way I'm paying $35 for a digipak. Might have to look into the Rock Candy version.

Liking what I'm hearing from the first couple songs....Sounds like they're bringing the rock back.

This one hitting me the exact same as the others....Like it, sounds good....But every now and then the vocals bother me for some reason. I think it's just the way Joss enunciates some words. At the same time though, I feel like after a few listens to each song I sort of forget about it and the good sounding music just takes over. I'll probably pre-order this soon. The style is right up my alley and knowing who is involved with this I'm happy to give it a shot and toss support behind it.

Pretty good! Again, loving the overall sound and the music. My only slight hesitation is just the vocals that have a slightly different flavor to them that seem to take me a little to warm up to. Cool vibe in the music though and sounding good. Hoping we get to hear another song before launch.

Been a little bit of a dry period for new releases lately so have been digging on the shelf. In the car for this week Def Leppard - High N Dry Tyketto - Don't Come Easy Halestorm - Strange Case Of Crazy Lixx - New Religion

Have to say this song is growing on me some after a few more listens. Still wish it picked up a little more in the middle but not a bad song. It'll be better if it's sandwiched between some more up tempo songs on the album. Definitely feels more like a GOG type song than CDG though if I had to choose ?
