Foreigner are in my opinion part of the holy grail of melodic rock They combined great melodies, fantastic arrangements and souned AOR but with a raw rockin' streak running through their music. 4 is a true classic and an album I listen to frequently (espeically when the sun is out). Agent Provocateur and Inside Information are great sounding AOR albums and the first 3 are classic rock albums. Consistently high standards are acheived throughout their recording career and IMO they have never released a duff album (how many bands can claim that). In Lou Gramm they have a vocalist par excellence (check out his solo stuff) and Mick Jones has the knack of writing excellent song after excellent song. IMO they should continue to make music but NOT as Foreigner as Lou Gramm is too much an intregal part of the bands sound. No Lou No Foreigner.

I sent Zinatra a PM reference some of his wants and he never returned my email-so go figure!! I have traded through this site and have sent discs for free in the belief that one good turn deserves another and for the most part most of the people on this site are great and I trade/give as a token of friendship. I know of no other site that I would do this on and this down to the freaks that frequent this site. If people want to throw dummies out of prams-their loss in the long run.

I think the point Vegas was making was that the band gave him the CD's to sell. Whether that is true or not-god only knows as we only have his word for it. If the band have connections with Russian bootleggers then I suppose they could be making a buck or too, but again no one knows. I would be interested in hearing from a band member. A band member could validate everything that is being claimed and counter claimed. Has someone checked?

The rock buying world is comparively small. The buyers (like the majority here) spend way in excess of the casual buyer. To piss us off just reeks of commercial suicide. Dan I think your argument has been both measured and polite. Del and the others that have unearthed this fraudster-I thank you. I certainly won't buy from him and not because of re-issues as oppossed to originals, but because the guy is rude, arrogant/ignorant (take your pick) and a total moron.

This ebayer still has a 98% success rate on more than 7,000 hits. I agree a couple of the complaints seem valid (torn sleeve etc) and there is obviously an issue with the date of posting but some of the negative feedback is I think harsh and some is frankly illegible. I have had negative feedback left in the past for quite trivial things. One in particular over postage costs that were clearly stated for worldwide postage in the description and the buyer then refused to pay and left negative feedback. Was it my fault he couldn't read? If he wasn't prepared to pay-why bid? I have also recently been the victim of a con whereby badly water damaged CD's were sent after I paid full price and the seller basically blackmailed me into leaving positive feedback before he would refund my money. I wonder how many others he had done that too? He is a crook but his feedback is 100% I am not sticking up for this seller per se because I do not know them-however I will read negative comments before I buy and make a judgement call based upon my findings. SOMETIMES FEEDBACK CAN LIE or at least DISTORT THE TRUTH. If you have bben stung then I feel sorry for your loss.

I ordered some DVD's that were poor copies. Had I have known they were copies I may still have bought them but not at full retail price. Ahh Well we all learn from our mistakes!!

Hey Blue Have to agree with JLP this is a great Cd. I have had a copy for years and never played it. I love doing that and then finding a great disc. The quality is definately bootleg quality but listenable and the songs are excellent. Makes me wonder why it was never released.
