  5. Tainted ANGEL - SouthGang
  6. As a way to try to deal with this rough year, Paul Zablidowsky made a tribute video to his brother, singing a song originally sung by the brilliant, sadly also gone too soon, Daryl Pediford. Prince of Peace is one of the more powerful vocal performances in the TSO show and Paul sings with great emotion in tribute to his late brother David. (No one will ever match Diamond Daryl, but knowing the reason Paulie chose this song and hearing the emotion in his vocals, he does a great job.) Even though it's been years since I've had contact with any of the guys, this still hits me SO hard.
  7. That's a pretty damning look over 20 years, although, with all the new "stars" on the periphery, I'm curious if it's gotten better or worse in the past (near) decade. (Although, that number probably makes it difficult to quantify because it can be produced and posted so easily.)
  8. (Fitting tribute to Marla. She always loved her DannyDannyDanny...) FOREVER - Wild Boyz
  9. In honor of Marla (and all the good times over a decade ago)... If the GOOD Die Young (We'll Live Forever) - Bangalore Choir
  10. That's very cool! (I knew him from Southgang, lost track during the Floyds and early M3. Got back in around the same time as you. I've seen 20 of his shows, and one in-store performance, have an M3 tattoo, and just generally am a huge fan.) I haven't been to a show in 4+ years, but if anyone could make me break that, it'd be Butch Walker.
  11. As a Browns "fan", I don't have much to contribute to this thread other than maybe DORSEY is the GM that will help the Browns not squander their top picks in the draft (by either trading them or not choosing a franchise QB). Or maybe he'll just be the latest in a string of personnel that have continued to have their own vision that led the Browns astray. However, I only had one FFB team this year. The lack of a stud RB hurt me, but I managed to make the playoffs. And in the quarterfinals, I actually had a fairly good week. Good enough to squeak out a win and make it to a championship podium game, so I thought. And then Carson Wentz went and continued to help Trey Burton a star (and get him his highest point value of the season, if not his career). Oh, and the D player I selected based on Yahoo's projected score... managed to not play/do nothing. (And then my D in the 5th place game did the same and I lost that game too. Fuck Yahoo! not helping the lazy/time crunched among us.)
  12. I wonder what ELSE she grabs! Since I'm here, I should make a contribution... I mean, it's only right. Meet Sommer Ray: Bonus link: Commercial
  13. And, in November (thought I had seen something about it, but had to look it up), Shyla Stylez was found dead. No cause of death has yet been named. So, 3 women in porn in about 5 weeks. That's definitely cause for alarm. (As much as many more women in more recent history have said they embarked in the business more for long-term monetary gain/security, it appears there are still many cases where it's more of a way out and the actors/actresses don't deal with the demons that often landed them there in the first place. Then again, that's as much speculation on my part as anything else.)
  14. Just days later, another porn star was found dead. (Drug overdose) Yurizan Beltran, also known as Yuri Luv. Can't say I ever recall seeing her work, but it's definitely sad that whether due to fast living or depression or bitching of SJW's who refuse to actually use reading comprehension/logic before jumping on the bandwagon and harassing people, so many people in this line of work leave this world far too soon. (Hell, that's sad ANYTIME, but when it's so prevalent in a profession, as fleeting as it may be.)
  15. Back in '06, when Butch released a DVD, I bought an extra (10? 12? can't remember) and I (thought) I put a thread on here (that I now can't find) that if anyone wanted to check out a copy, PM me their address and I'd send it to them. I think I may have even sent them to a few different countries besides the US. But anyone who sent me a PM, while supplies lasted, got themselves an unopened, brand new copy of Butch Walker: Live at Budokan. Are you a Butch fan? Seen any of his Detroit shows? (I'd thought about a drive up a few times in the past; never did it. But I've heard good things about some of those shows.)
  16. Dude, I've been inclined AF for 5 years now, even if I've only been here for 5 days of that time; just needed a willing recipient/address. Same address as when I sent you that Butch Walker DVD, some 11 years ago? If not, just shoot me your new address and I'll get it out as soon as possible.
  17. Holy crap! I totally forgot about the song game! When I first joined up here... 13 years ago?... I can't tell you how many times I stayed up inappropriately late on inappropriate (read: work) nights playing that game. (And Marla was usually up with me, going back and forth, unless someone else happened to wander in.)
  18. Haha. Thanks Terry! (And resurrection would imply there's a good quality about me for which someone/something would want to bring it, therefore me, back. Haha) BTW, the CD is still waiting for a new destination... any takers?
  19. Hey, I TRIED to get rid of it! No one ever contacted me with an address to which I could send it! (I'm sure the prevailing opinion was that I sold the CD to finance my move to a private island in the Caribbean and I was living off grid, but, that's not how it worked out. Though, not for lack of trying!)
  20. I've finally processed this, but it still hit me hard. Even though I hadn't seen ZO2 since 2010 (and, if memory serves, same thing for TSO), I still feel so incredibly close to the ZO2 guys. Some of the greatest memories I'll ever have we due to the people I met because of the shows and spending time with the guys after shows. Not that any "premature" passing isn't sad, but Dave was such a good soul. Genuinely wanted to entertain/make people happy. I can only imagine how those he was close to were hit by his untimely passing. RIP Dave Z.
  21. Wow! This is heartbreaking! Obv. I'm not around these parts much any more, but back in the day, this was THE place to hang out. Marla was always one of the ones involved in whatever shenanigans we were getting up to at the moment. So sad to hear. Condolences to her family and friends. (I didn't see, in the emoticons, the one she asked to be specially made for her. I probably still have it on Photobucket, but I don't pay to be able to post it here. Anyway, in her honor, a memorialized "Blond Moment" emoticon.)
  22. I'm interested in hearing any reviews of this. They're playing 20 minutes away, but I still don't have tickets. The last few times I saw DL, Joe's voice was so shot, it wasn't even worth it. Can't imagine it's gotten much better. I haven't even looked to see how far along in the tour my local show is, but if I hear decent reviews, I may call and see if there are any (cheap) tickets left. (I'm not really all about paying a ton of money for good shows, let alone for this.)
