The second half of this disc is simply fucking awesome!

The band said of the song, “We wanted to release a little bit different new single than a kick-ass super fast rock song with sh*tloads of shredding. Even thou we got the screaming guitar leads and bigger than life chorus on the new single, ‘Skydiving Without a Parachute,’ we slowed the tempo down a bit and played some beautiful chords and lovely notes for you with acoustic guitar and piano. Lyrics are about how life feels when you don’t know where you’re going, what’s gonna happen next, or what you’re supposed to feel when you’re livin’ on the edge all the time. In that moment it feels like you’re skydiving without a parachute.”

I listened to this and Pandemonium mix cd I made. Some awesome stuff. Can't wait for a new cd.

Yeah Glen.... what happened to Edguy? That Hellfire Club disc was awesome. Haven't really gotten in to anything from them since.

It does sound quite a bit different from CDG while maintaining that trademark TREAT sound. CDG just had better hooks, better beefier guitars, and just better songs. As good as GOG is, I'd still take CDG every day and twice on Sunday!

Comic book geek I'm not but I see the inclusion of Black Panther thoughts? I wish we could see more Hellboy, The Spawn styled stuff. Heck how bout Lobo? Thank you. I am wondering what all the hype is about. I mean it's a pretty decent hard rock record (minus the awful Issa track) but for me, nowhere near the top releases of the year so far. Maybe about 80% or so. I will spin a few more times and then drop my initial rating on it.
