  1. It's FaceTube. Everything spreads like crazy on there. On HH we have a group of hardcore fans, who sought this site out to discuss our love of music. On FaceTube anyone who lived through the 80s, or ever loved a Bon Jovi song can easily stumble upon the group. But thanks to the group, a lot of those fair-weather fans have become hardcore listeners, because they've been exposed to so much more.
  2. The second, unreleased album from Electric Angels has finally been officially released, 25 years later, on Demon Doll Records. Yeah, it's silver-pressed. We've prolly all had this album in one form or another at some point, and now we can get it, again! I think I'll listen to my mp3s today as a reminder, to see if I still want it. https://www.demondollrecords.com/products/electric-angels-lost-in-the-atlantic?mc_cid=884cffc805&mc_eid=49e953a3d1
  3. That's good to know. I actually like "Indelible Heroes," but it feels more like a Leverage tune than Brother Firetribe.
  4. Ah but it really is a small world You wanna pay for my flight?
  5. It really is sad that we live on opposite ends of the world.
  6. Just wait for George. He'll enlighten us.
  7. All wars matter, even the internet ones. Especially the internet ones.
  8. That's typical Brother Firetribe. No, no no. Completely wrong. No way is Brother Tribe "proper AOR." Not a chance. They have a handful of really synth-driven tunes, but even those I'd still not call "AOR." Not to get into this horrific discussion and wishing to completely avoid it, but Brother Firetribe are "too hard" to be proper AOR. Ballsy band - melodic hard rock. What he says. To answer Cure's original question - yes, every song has keyboards in it, so if you dislike keyboards avoid like the plague. That said, they do have a pretty beefy sound....melodic hard rock is pushing it a bit, but I wouldn't call them wimpy AOR......... Everything you guys said is what I meant.
  9. Cool. I just wish I had your money. All you guys always buying the Japanese pressings: how do you afford it? Do what I do, only by the good albums and not the albums you want to be good. Mine should be arriving soon along with Eclipse and a couple of others. I already do that, for the most part, but I couldn't afford to always purchase the Japanese pressings.

  11. But why? Why did you ever think, for a second, that this might be different?
  12. And they prolly played the radio version which is nowhere near as good as the album version.
  13. Haha. Jamiroquai are so bad at updating their fanbase on FaceTubes. I follow them, but I found out about this song randomly through CBC Radio 2's playlog while I was searching for another tune. "Cloud 9" is awesome. "Automata" isn't so awesome, but it could grow on me. I'm excited for a new album. Rock Dust Light Star didn't do much for me.
  14. I did see that. It's really depressing. Are there really only 20 of us here?
  15. I've been a bad boy. Haven't listened to a lot of Rock in the last week. Been on vacation in Mexico, so I was spinning a good deal of Pop. Bomba Estéreo - Amanecer Donkeyboy - Lost Empire of the Sun - Two Vines Great Good Fine OK - III The Knocks - 55 MUNA - About U Roosevelt - Roosevelt Tilian - Perfect Enemy
  16. For whatever reason, I haven't listened to any samples, yet. But with the early less than stunning reviews, I was a bit worried. Good to know those fears were misplaced.
  17. Really? I still really like Defiants...Laine is amazing on that disc. As I said end of year, played it three or four times, got bored of it and now it's stored away to be probably forgotten about until I stumble across it again sometime 2030 Fair play mate. Think the general concensus was that this was a goodie.....i certainly like it Unfortunately, it reached the same fate for me. I think it's a good album, but Treat just completely overshadowed it.
  18. Way under $40 preferably!! I think Eclipse/One Desire was about £15............. In Vancouver everything is expensive. But most shows I go to are between $12-40.
  19. Damn!! $200?? This is why I ignore a lot of big name bands playing in stadiums. I'd rather see a show in a club for under $40.
  20. Leaked album - I am sure Davy is well happy about that I think pledgers got it digitally earlier this month.
  21. Hopefully the guitarist has learnt how to play his instrument since the last album.
