I'm not technical,so I have no idea why, but now none of them will play on my PC. They were fine at the weekend, but now nothing.
They're hosted at fileden.com and the site appears to be down at the moment. That happens with them once in a while. It's usually not down for long.
Led Zeppelin 'The Ocean' is #2
That just leaves #6

Grey, is your copy a Music For Nations? They reissued a few of the DL releases and put lyrics in them....along with some extra tracks I think.
I have the original Rockworld release.
-
They have a limited collection of lyrics on their website, but they didn't have what I was looking for.
http://www.dirtylooksmusic.com/
Just click "Lyrics" on the sidebar.
To my knowledge NO! Dirty Looks discs contain lyrics.
My "Five Easy Pieces" CD has a 4-page booklet with lyrics for all tracks.
My Five Easy Pieces doesnt have any lyrics, but if I remember right, I always thought it was odd cause there was so many songs you cant understand the lyrics to, I have all their cd's up to One Bad Leg, after that I completely lost interest, it became quantity not quality. but none of my discs have any lyrics,
BTW Chewing is my fav of all time from them!
Hmmm. I bought mine about a year after it came out. Maybe the label went cheap on future issues. I can scan the lyric pages if anyone is interested.
I was kind of surprised to see the Five Easy Pieces CD is now selling for $85 on Amazon. Even a used copy will cost you at least $25.

Working in the housing business, I routinely come across cable tv/internet equipment abandoned by tenants when they skip out on me. All the while, Charter constantly screws me on my own tv and internet deals at home.
I love calling them to ask if they'll offer me some kind of deal on installation or one-time discount for the effort of returning their equipment to them. They always refuse, but tell me they'll be happy to come and pick it up from me. My response to that is always the same: "Sure, I'll stop home from work sometime between 12 and 5 next Friday. Be there". Of course they aren't and I end up chucking the equipment in the dumpster. Screw 'em.

Take your pick. According to the guys in Ghosts of August, the two bands wrote this song together, but each one recorded it a bit differently. Personally, I'd go with the Ghosts of August version. Either way, it's a cool tune.
Ghosts of August - Broken (2011)

Age of Days - Broken (2013)

Both of those come from pretty good CDs worth checking out.

Ok. I made #6 a bit longer. I thought that extra bit would make it too easy if I included it in the original clip.
-
ha, not as hard to find as I thought. Unfortunately my Rockworld copy does not have lyrics, and what is dumb it is like a 4-5 page fold out but it is blank on one side. The other side has their thank you's or whatever. Never noticed that.
Thanks for checking. I got that track from a mix CD-R a long lost friend burned for me many years ago, so I couldn't check for myself. "Five Easy Pieces" has the lyrics in it, so I thought I'd ask.
That line right before "it's hard to break into if I'm still alive" will remain a mystery.

Dirty Looks - My Shallow Grave
-
Does anyone have this CD. Does it have the lyrics?
There's a line in "My Shallow Grave" that's been driving me crazy for years.

Is 8 Dirty Looks - Violence in Blue?
#1 is Megadeth - Almost Honest
#5 is Enuff Z'Nuff - Fly High Michelle
Perfect. That just leaves #2 and #6

I love Florida Georgia Line but this is fucking awful! This is one of the worst things I've ever heard on the radio. WTF?
Yeah, the original is pretty cool, but I cringed when I heard that on a Pop station last week.
-
No:4 is Queensryche - Empire
Is No:5 Glen Frey? The Heat Is On?
No:7 Sammy Hagar - Mas Tequila
No.3 is Valentine-Runnin' On Luck Again
No.8 sounds similar to Steelhouse Lane-Son Of A Loaded Gun? but aint it
3 is Valentine - Runnin' on Luck Again
4 is Queensryche - Empire
7 is Sammy Hagar - Mas Tequila
#5 was incorrect.
#8 is the only one of these I've never heard on the radio.

Anyone have the Japanese version of Slaughter's "Back to Reality"? I've been trying to track down a cheap copy of this for 14 years now. I already have the US version, but it doesn't have the bonus track and I can't justify spending over $20 for a single track.

Here's 8 more. Post your answers if you can ID any of them.

Anything by David Lee Murphy, he's my all time favorite Country Artist, and if you look on the credits for the Rock City Angels, you'll find he was one of the many song writers for that album, the 2nd one that is.
Murphy has written a lot of good stuff, including this one:

"Wreck-It Ralph" (2012)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=87E6N7ToCxs
Disney's latest smash hit is kinda like a "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" for the video-game generation. The villain of a vintage '80s arcade game is tired of being the bad guy so he goes "game jumping" hoping to find a way to be seen as a hero. Stuck in a racing game called "Sugar Rush" (imagine a Strawberry Shortcake version of Mario Kart) he befriends a fellow misfit and helps save the day when some giant angry aliens crash the party.
My kids and I all loved "Wreck It Ralph," it was beautifully animated, packed with action, funny as hell and had a warm heart. If you've ever played video games, you need to see this movie, it's a blast!
Watch for the cameos by tons of vintage game characters including Q-Bert, DigDug, Pac-Man, Sonic the Hedgehog, and many more!
I love computer animated movies that aren't aimed entirely at little kids. When it came time to watch the next one this past weekend, I recalled this post.
Good watchin'. The wife and I loved it.

This was a Top 20 (US) song in 1981

I enjoyed most of his stuff up to the mid '90s. The "Into the Fire" CD would be my favorite.
-
The first one is Bryan Adams: 'Fits Ya Good'
Is 5 'Finish What Ya Started' by Van Halen?
7 is 'I Might Lie' by Andy Taylor ( I LOVE his Thunder album)
The last one is Peter Gabriel: 'Big Time'
All of those are correct. That just leaves #2 and #4 unidentified
