P.P.S I supposed one could make the blanket statement "every death metal 'vocalist' ever", but I would not include them... as that type of vocal is the norm for the genre. It's what is expected. The people on the above list actually try to pass themselves off as being able to carry a tune in a bucket, but the bucket is a sieve.
Right. This reminds me a bit of your vocalist thread from a while back. A lot of those guys actually have decent voices, but chose to sing in a style that matches the music. Others, like Brian Johnson for example, just stick with music that matches their voice and can get away with it just fine.
-
None of them has a decent singing voice.....
Winner!
Every last one of them has made a career in music as a singer... while not being able to sing worth a damn. They all have horrific voices, and some of them are completely tone deaf. Some might be excellent songwriters or performers in other aspects, but none of them should ever have been put in front of a microphone.
Can we add Tom Petty to that list?
-
Up next, I'm thinking of The Story of Anvil. I heard it was good, but is it worth watching if you're not a fan of the band?

Great to see a continuation of this game, thanx!
Nr. 2 is Warrant - Blind Faith
no idea on the other ones though...
#3 Every Rose Has It's Thorn
Both of those are correct.
I'll post hints tomorrow.

P.S. I don't understand why this video has been so difficult to watch. It's up on one site, then it's down. It's up on another site, then it's down. Why the need for the "Not available in your country" stuff? The internet has made so many things international, and something as niche and fragile as the remaining rock music industry definitely needs to bring together all of its worldwide fans whenever it can.
It's not just the video, I had to jump through serious hoops just to purchase the single. I ended up buying it from a website in France.
I get that there are certain distribution rights, but why make it that complicated? If you can buy it in Europe, why not set it up to be released worldwide at the same time? Capitalize on the worldwide exposure since it can't be contained to a specific region. This sort of thing is what encourages piracy or leads people to make unauthorized purchases.

Great music, but the sound quality is dreadful. This one's completely flat sounding with serious distortion which makes it difficult to listen to.
I wish more music reviewers would mention this sort of thing. If more of you did, it might get the attention of music producers and finally bring some peace to the loudness war.

That line right before "it's hard to break into if I'm still alive" will remain a mystery.
is it..."The Air's Gettin' Thin Inside,it's hard to break into if I'm still alive"?
Could be, but I'm not 100% convinced.
