Well done Glen, someone with the bollocks to admit they like it! The first live show was appallingly bad. Only about 2 or 3 worth writing home about. Quite disappointing really.

I didn't even contemplate tuning in for the seond episode or any since. I know how you feel so for now on you are from this thread. I saw the pilot on Sky the other night and thought it was pretty good! Will be tuning in for more.

Yeah, the title track sure is a monster. As for the rest of your post, I'd defintely agree that these guys aren't really doing the same thing as the other bands you mentioned. This is pure hard rock (The Used, Story of the Year, Atreyu etc. would be their peers) as opposed to the metal of the bands mentioned there. This is my kind of thing, but I can see how these guys wouldn't please your heavier tastes. Their debut is heavier with more screams and breakdowns and stuff like that, but the songs on the new album are a lot better. Also, I have to add that apart from a couple of songs the latest A7X album was pretty poor IMO.

I watch it and I love it. I prefer American Idol tho as some of acts are more rock orientated.

Tonight Youre Mine - Silent Rage

Again........... And again........ And again.. This is a blinding cd..It was described as a pop-rock,slightly lighter version of Def Leppard,and that comparison is spot on.But a great album in its own right.... Right I hope this is gonna make sense. Of all the tracks listed I reckon 6 of them were on 'Silver' and were re-records (3 of those I really like 'Gravity', 'Ghost Of Me' and 'Undone'). So out of the 12 new tracks I really like 6 and they are - Gave You My Word This Summers Gonna Last Save Your Life Hand On My Heart Oh So Really Old Take Me Back 6/12 is pretty good I guess and the other tracks arent bad, they just dont grab me. In summary....good album but not stunning.
