Just added these guys over on the main site, and had never heard of them til today. They've been labeled as southern rock, but they'd also appeal to fans of AC/DC, Jackyl, and the like. Easily his best work since 89's "Trouble Walkin'". Working with Steve Brown definitely helped make the songs more melodic and memorable. Definitely better than I was expecting.

The song is pretty impactful and provoking!” ————— Song is just “ok” for me; I’m hoping there’s much better on the album, and they’ve just released this one first since it’s the title track.

When I saw the title of the thread, I thought “John” was being used to mean a prostitutes customer. A never ending John’s dream would be a dude’s ongoing sexual fantasy. Anyway, music is strong, vocals are weak. Pass.

Finally! That’s what I’ve been wanting to hear! If I was a betting man, I’d say that’s a leftover from the Firepower sessions.

I’m surprised there’s not more of a buzz about these guys here on the board. “Tell Me” and “ Take on Me” (no, those aren’t White Lion and A-Ha cover songs) are both solid AOR/melodic rock songs. The vocals on the verses could use a little more “umph”, but the choruses are quite tasty.

Love the music here, and then those vocals start. It’s like if King Diamond (who I enjoy listening to when I’m in the right mood) just had his tonsils ripped out and was trying to sing.

First single/video "Man in the Mirror" This may be a little confusing for fans, as there was already a 3 song EP titled "Fear No Evil" released back in 2022, and yep, the above song was on it. Not sure why they didn't just give it a new title? I suppose "Lion of Judah" and the title track "Fear No Evil" will be on here as well. No track listing available yet that I can find. Run time is listed as 44 minutes on the Amazon pre-order page.
