  1. Shark Island or Taking Dawn? I prefer Taking Dawn's version... But of course, the original is unbeatable....
  2. Dude is 71 years old, and can still bring it!
  3. Josh Dowdle He and his brother Jake started/run Metallic Blue Records: https://www.metallicbluerecords.com/
  4. Here's the "foot fetish" version of "Bitch on the Run"
  5. I know her blues based rock isn't going to appeal to everyone here, but Gawdd@mn I love this song! She is a total badass! Right now... right now I'm feeling it! Another fave
  6. You can listen to their unreleased 1992 album "All the Fools in Town...Are on Our Side" at https://soundcloud.com/sweetaddiction-gb/sets/all-the-fools-in-town-are-on-1
  7. They do a damn fine version of the Firehouse hit; of course, with former Firehouse bassist Perry Richardson in the band now, I guess they ought to!
  8. No full length album as far as I can tell, just several singles/CD singles.
  9. Video quality isn't the greatest, but you get the idea what these not very well known UK rockers were all about....
  10. Had no idea there was a video for this song!
  11. Info taken from Sleaze Roxx at: https://sleazeroxx.com/reviews/sven-gali-3/ Unfortunately, this is much more akin to Inwire than their excellent debut. https://www.svengali.ca/ https://www.facebook.com/svengalicanada/ 01. Kill The Lies 02. You Won’t Break Me 03. Now 04. Hurt Dave Wanless – vocals Andy Frank – guitar Shawn Minden – bass Sean Williamson – guitar Dan Fila – drums
  12. LMAO! You certainly don't want the Mafia on your ass! Universal Language had a few decent tracks on it, but I haven't felt compelled to purchase anything else he's done recently, be it his solo stuff or with Sainted Sinners.
  13. Ozzy has always had a unique voice, a certain cadence in his delivery that you immediately recognize as him. A lot of people like his vocal style, others, not so much. I've always enjoyed his "poppier"solo work, which I think suits his voice better, over his work with Sabbath. To reiiterate my initial post, "Ordinary Man" is an amazing fucking song!
  14. I was unprepared for fame Then everybody knew my name No more lonely nights, it's all for you I have traveled many miles I've seen tears and I've seen smiles Just remember that it's all for you Don't forget me as the colors fade When the lights go down, it's just an empty stage Okay Yes, I've been a bad guy Been higher than the blue sky And the truth is I don't wanna die an ordinary man I've made momma cry Don't know why I'm still alive Yes, the truth is I don't wanna die an ordinary man Many times I've lost control They tried to kill my rock and roll Just remember I'm still here for you I don't wanna say goodbye When I do, you'll be alright After all, I did it all for you Don't forget me as the colors fade When the lights go down, it's just an empty stage Okay… -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fucking amazing song! Love how he is looking back and reflecting upong his life. Ozzy: vocalsElton John: vocals & pianoSlash: guitarDuff McKagan: bassChad Smith: drums
  15. In my posting bravado, I got a bit excited, and left out that I think the b&w pic may be of a PRE Kik Tracee band, It sure looks like Johnny Douglas and Rob Grad are in both pics to me, but hey, WTF do I know?
